The quality is exactly what I expected upon backing. Some stuff has a bendability to it (like the ladders), but no more than Dwarven Forge, Bones, or Secret Weapon stuff.

The crates dont have the tray inserts like in the box opening video, but I am unlikely to use the boxes for storing them anyway.

how's the gold plastic? I had skipped that because I was worried about the tendency for some kinds of gold plastic on toys to self destruct.

The battlefield set was the one I was least excited about and yet the one I am most happy with. The tents and camp items are things I had little of in my terrain collection. I am wondering if I should have picked up a second box!

You can tell us after you finish painting the miniatures!

 

Kinda bemusing that the KSE box doesn't even have an insert while retail does. OTOH, After painting, I'll store in planos as well, so doesn't actually matter.
