Lars Porsenna
Can't decide if this is a Rhino replacement or a Land Raider replacement, or something in between. Looks like it is armed with a twin-Lascannon in the hull, turret mounted lascannon & heavy stubber, and finally a pintle mounted assault cannon(!). Maybe some sort of grenade launcher on the turret sides? Looks like access doors towards the rear too... Damon.

Check out some of the other marnie tanks. Predators, Razorbacks, etc. This new one looks like it hovers though.
Mehman
It looks like something an Ork made after it looted a bunch of Space Marine vehicles...
Werkrobotwerk
Thats a lot of different guns on the same tank. looks like 3 las cannons, a heavy stubber, some sort of micro missile/grenade thing, and an assault cannon?
Sergeant_Crunch
At first I was thinking it was a transport for Primaris marines, but the power requirements for the anti-grav propulsion and lascannons would preclude any passengers...unless Cawl has some new uber power supply. I'm thinking the launchers on the sides are some kind of explosive close combat system like the anti-personnel charges on the tanks in the Hammer's Slammers books. Brother Jim
I actually like it, but I prefer hover/grav vehicles over wheeled/tracked for my scifi armies.
Dai-Mongar
Well I wasn't planning on pre-ordering Dark Imperium, but apparently I can get it at 20% off with release-day delivery and go in the draw to win a prize pack which includes a copy of each of the index books, among other goodies. Wife says it's fine if I sell some stuff to help pay for it...
Taskmaster99
I fought the urge......I lost. Preordered today.

Werkrobotwerk
Waiting to hear if a friend wants to split a box before I do any preordering. Although I really want the objectives marker minis box.

Mehman
Right then. I didn't preorder anything yet because of reasons but I've figured out what I need: 1x Big Rule Book 1x All Indices In truth, only four out of five of the army books are needed but I might as well make it a set, right? I don't play Chaos in 40k now but that could always change. I do have an idea for a Chaos Space Marine force in the works. The Renegade God would be pleased... Anyway, I'm going with actual dead tree books so that I can play by candlelight or something even though I prefer the iPad versions. It would be cheaper, too. Well, whatever.

One of my beefs with 40K is that they have been waging war, in the far future, with mostly WW1 technology. (Well except for their guns and lasers, which have lower effective ranges than handgunners from the War of The Roses.) So, good on them for re-inventing early 22nd century hovertank propulsion. Now they are only 18 centuries behind the tech level they should be at. (edit: wait, 40,000AD minus 2200AD is how many centuries..?..I may need a goblin to calculate this...) . Edited June 5, 2017 by TGP I think my maths are off...
