I don't know anyone that would want them.

Plus, I don't play. So I don't really want all the game bits either.

I don't think they'll be too difficult to find separately, but I'm still annoyed.

Not difficult at all, the minis from First Strike are also going to be released as new "Easy to Build" snap-together kits. Though of course, the starter set is going to be better overall value.

Yeah, I should've have actually read the press release rather than jumping to conclusions.

I withdraw my previous grumblings.

Sounds like you're coming down with something there. Perhaps you'd better go visit the Inquisition just to be sure.

Just take a seat on that charred and blackened chair over there. The purg- ahh, treatment will begin shortly.

Stay Calm and pray to Papa Nurgle!

I only played one or two games in my youth of 40K.

But I always loved Chaos..

Nurgle was my favorite, followed by Slaanesh, Khorne and then Tzeentch.

Still like to paint and build stuff like that, I'm just to pre-occupied by Fantasy and busts these days..

**** Ooohhh Look, a comfy chair, Wait why are you strapping me in it? Is this a game?***

Wait, the purge is supposed to make me better! Dead is not better!

Maybe not in your opinion. The inquisition isn't terribly concerned about your opinion, though.

All this talk of 40k had gotten me to begin digging out all my old stuff.

I may be painting a copy of the original Kharn the Betrayer for Reapercon. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!

(I've got 3 or 4 of him...)

As awesome as the multiple startersets are the packaging is what interests me.

Now this thing have potential.
Not for veteran players, but for getting new ones in.

GW having a finished stand for new players makes starting easy.

The fact that they could probably easily put this in a lot of other stores, does not hurt either.

I need to actually get a game in, but I'm really liking the new edition so far from everything I've read.

Painting up the Plague Marines, it is strange to see Space Marines finally be the right size.

I'm digging the idea of the smaller starter boxes.  I wonder if they're going to try to get any in toy stores or big box stores, like the re-release of the Black Reach Orks and Marines were meant to.

Grrr, I would really like to paint one of these new Marines too but I dont want the whole box set just like one of them. Grrr!

The "easy build" kits come in a set of 3.  I'm sure with all the dual-army kits coming out, you'll also easily be able to find one second-hand.

I'l keep and eye out thanks for the heads up.

I found some on ebay but they are groups of 5 or specialty characters. I was kind of hoping to just get a standard Primaris Space Marine.

There's also going to be a getting started booklet coming out, with background and hobby info for new players along with the basic rules, which comes with a single Primaris marine and costs the same as an issue of White Dwarf.
