Werkrobotwerk
My primaris arrived. looks like I'm doing purple, with silver trim, green lenses, and blue weapons, haven't decided on a symbol yet.
Mehman
I got my Primaris Marines last Thursday and still haven't touched them. My friend had built all the characters, an Intercessor Squad, and two of the Inceptors already so that's work I don't have to do. All I have to do is some very minor mold line removal on these guys and then build the rest of the force. Luckily, I'm a slow painter so these 11 models will keep me occupied for a long while. I'm going to put the picture of what they'll roughly look like in spoilers as it's a little big. Spoiler So, yeah, they're a dark grey army. My Space Wolves are also a grey (not baby blue) but they're painted very differently than these guys so I'm considering these Primaris Marines as my only dark grey force. They'll have a silver Aquila and trim with purple lenses and Purity Seal wax. Their guns will be white like my Iron Hands and Clerics because, you know, monotone. As you can see, they'll have a deep red faceplate because they wouldn't be the Crimson Tusks without a little crimson on them! The Chapter symbol is a white boar's head that I'll put in another spoiler because, again, it's big. Spoiler

Club
It's surprising how different Khorne Berserkers are depending on how they're kitted out. Pistol/chainsword - early/ranged S4 attack on your turn and three S5 attacks Pistol/chainaxe - early/ranged S4 attack on your turn and two S6 attacks Chainaxe/chainsword - two S6 and one S5 attacks. I prefer the axe/sword version myself, there aren't many things that aren't afraid of that many high strength attacks.

So I started painting him. Is it bad that I can look at that model, and know who sculpted it, just from the buttons? But I always loved Chaos.. Nurgle was my favorite, followed by Slaanesh, Khorne and then Tzeentch. Still like to paint and build stuff like that, I'm just to pre-occupied by Fantasy and busts these days.. **** Ooohhh Look, a comfy chair, Wait why are you strapping me in it? Is this a game?*** Sigh. Poor Tzeench never gets any respect. He's the thinking man's corruption of all that is good, and righteous, I say! Some day, maybe I'll even finish painting my fantasy Tzeench warriors army for fun and extreme lack-of-profit too!

I prefer Nurgle, because I also love Undead armies and Slaanesh because of their style.
Jeneki
A few weeks ago I picked up some tzeentch beak-head beastmen dudes. Also got some tzeentch cultist dudes that wear beaky masks, like they're trying to try to fit in or something, I shall name them "wannabeasts". I ordered a Type I Demon from Fractured Dimensions for them to worship and that'll be enough. (this is all for use in a different skirmish game) Around the time of 40k 3rd edition I gave up on playing GW games, but it wasn't due to business reasons. Rather I was getting into different rule sets and just couldn't go back. Stuff with alternating unit activation, less die rolls to resolve a combat, no scifi armys bringing knives to a gunfight, less giving every random dude a unique special rule, etc, that really fit my preferences. I had a local group that would play just about anything so we recycled models into new rule sets all the time. So I'm not opposed to buying occasional figures from GW, but I doubt I'll ever play one of their mainline games again. I still own most of the GW minis I bought because I like them but they get used in other games. Your lucky to have a group that will try lots of things.
Sergeant_Crunch
So I dug out my Cadians. Half the force is missing, key models are missing parts, and I really have a strong desire to repaint what I do have because my lord, I was a horrible lazy painter back then. Now I'm much better at being a lazy painter. That being said, what I don't want to do is strip all those models.
Dilvish the Deliverer
Question for a friend who is getting back into playing. Are there any Chapters that Primas Marines are not part of?

That or create his own chapter that has refused to accept Primaris Marines.
Dilvish the Deliverer
He has Primaris Marines but wants to do Black Templars. He doesn't want to go through the bother of painting them and then find out that they are an invalid choice.
Sergeant_Crunch
To be honest I'd be surprised if excluded any of the chapters from using Primaris figures.
