#94, hurray! Early bird even.

Not much difference in the early bird vs. regular pledge ($5), but I feel all special now. Excepting the one I got at ReaperCon, these will be my first Dark Sword/Stephanie Law minis.

As I was entering my pledge, we reached the $10K stretch goal. Next one at $12K (from creator comments).

Holy elf due to misunderstanding world time buddy I was camping here all night, with the kickstarter going live just as I cooked dinner. I hate time zones.

I think I got the last early bird.

It's exciting, it's my first mini kickstarter ever.

So, are you guys in because of the sculpts or because of the Art associated with it? I will be honest, there are a couple I like but there are more than a few that I don't. The sculpts aren't as close to the art as I would like. My other concern is I have about 6 DS minis. Some are perfectly scaled to my other 28mm-32mm stuff but a couple (a duelist girl with a sword and dagger and a lady muse in a dress) are huge... towering over everyone else. I cant tell the scale or if the scale is consistent. They do look nice though.

The all or nothing though is the kicker. If I could get the Druid and a few others on their own then I would have likely been in.

I do like the sculpts. Especially the female ones.

Yes, the art work does look different, but I did not expect the sculpts to be 1 on 1 copies - the old Stephanie Law miniatures aren't either, it's just not a style that is easy to convert imho.

And I really like the male druid, my bf is probably going to use it in our current campaign, since most other druid minis look old and have a long beard, which doesn't fit his character.

Also, I don't really have that many PC/NPC minis, since I'm fairly new to this hobby and I mostly bought monsters thus far (which I will continue doing), so I have use for them all. A lot of you probably have a box full of female spellcasters, so I understand you're more critical before you buy more of them.

Last but not least, DSM are hard to come by around here, or at least they are quite expensive compared to the kickstarter. For the money I spent (including shipping), I could have bought 9 of them here, and I already get 15 in the kickstarter.

Personally there are none that I hate, I like most of them and I love a few of them.  My biggest criticism of the first Stephanie Law line was that a lot of them weren't at all useful from a gaming perspective, all of these can at least hit a table.

I'm also in the same boat of having difficulty getting Dark Sword minis locally.  I can't easily pick up just one or two and by paying shipping costs over and over, well it adds up.

I feel exactly the same. I love Stephanie Law's art (I have 2 of her books). So many of the first set of Law minis are amazing. There just isn't $100 worth of minis that I want in this set. I can easily find $100 worth of awesome minis in the Dark Sword shop. Heck, I just got a couple in the mail last week.

I hope this project goes through the roof. I'm okay paying full price to pick and choose my favorites later on.

It is not a must have, but I could use a few more ladies in metal.

I have to balance this vs picking up a display cabinet - hobby money is not exactly tight but I have to set priorities.

There is a huge neighborhood garage sale next week, if that fails ill fall back to Ikea. Buying into this KS is what I have budgeted for the other.

ill check back in on this after the sales.
