Metalchaos
Since I didn't have time to paint that much lately, I took some pictures of my W.I.P. to motivate myself to come back to the painting desk. I'm currently painting Mouslings and I started to prep the creatures of the Dungeon Horrors boxed set. I also played with madness and created an aberation with the parts from the boxed set. I used the Dung Monster body and arms, the Eyebeast head, the Charnel Grab tentacles and the Brain Horror head. Now I wonder how this aberation should be called? I was thinking about Dung Aberation... but it's not so original for a name. Maybe the Epic Aberation would sound better. What do you think?

ub3r_n3rd
Really cool! "Epic Dung" for a name perhaps?
Metalchaos
That's a good one. Imagine the weekend warriors remembering the old day after a couple of beers at the tavern. -Remember the Epic Dung we fought in that dungeon? -Yeah! I sure remember the smell.
Metalchaos
Prepping my Kaladrax, I decided to give it a magical twist. Still playing with spiders, I added two eyestalks from the 03440, Creature Components II to my Eyebeast and tentacles from the 03334, Creature Components to my Dung Monster.
Metalchaos
I started working on an Ogre Kingdoms Army with hope to find some time to play Age of Sigmar once in awhile. This guy, I call im Rudgar the Furious, will be the Crusher of my first unit. I'm using parts from Mournfang Cavalry "its right harm and weapon" and Grimgor Ironhide " half of two handed axe on tip of right side weapon" and Orc Warlord swrod "in its left hand". I'm also planning to add more blades attached to its chain belt and on its back. Edited August 13, 2017 by Metalchaos

Metalchaos
Thanks guys! I really like to assemble and convert these Ogres. I Can't wait to lay some paint on 'em. I will go with a wasteland concept on the bases, with a lot of dusty debris.
Metalchaos
Here are a few more pictures I took while converting my Kaladrax. That model is composed of 11 parts, 12 with the wand so it's challanging to assemble and paint. I decided to paint the arms and wings seperately, it was much easier to handle this way. I had to bend the tip of an old brush in order to be able to paint inside the rib cage. I was also going to paint runes all over the main bones, but then changed my mind as I thought it looked more like graffiti.
chaosscorpion
I almost commented that I would have liked to see the WIP on this version of Kaladrax . I recall many people describing that it was a bear to put together, and of course you do it with modifications...Go figure. Great Job Metalchaos.
Metalchaos
Yep! It was one of the hardest model I ever assembled. The legs were the tricky part to deal with. I used two part epoxy glue and attached the parts together with elastics for 10 hours between each bond. I also screwed the legs to the tin stone base through small holes I drilled before adding the epoxy glue. I was going to take more picture, but since it was an undercover projet, I focused on the assembling and painting mission.
