klarg1
Several of the classes which I have been resisting, to keep my schedule open, and my load light are still available. Buy more tickets, people! . . .

Reaperbryan
NEW CLASSES ADDED! If there wasn't enough already, we've added 8 new classes to the schedule, with all new Instructors! Heather Blush teaches tools and beginners Patrick Keith (of Bombshell Miniatures) teaches armatures and putty Stephen Pozywio (of Happy Seppuku fame) teaches about molds for basing and modeling David Cecil teaches weathering for beginners and Dragons for beginners Seth Amsden teaches Miniscapes! And a digital sculpting course with Tim Hill!
Doug Sundseth
Would there be any value to putting my name in for teaching a Miniatures Photography class* at this late date? I'll be at the convention anyway and could be available if a slot opens. Just wondering whether it would make sense to fill out the form now. * I've also taught beginning freehand and painting 101 at Genghis Con.

Moderator OneBoot Posted July 25, 2017 Moderator Share Posted July 25, 2017 I'm glad I looked at the schedule again; I noticed that a seat had opened up in Corporea's 'painting white and black' class on Sunday. I can haz! Huzzah! --OneBoot :D
Clearman
I like how the class schedule page now highlights the classes that you have registered for. Very nice. edit: well, it used to. I logged out so my itinerary page rendered correctly, and now the class schedule is no longer highlighted. Unfortunately Bones 3 & 4 are consuming all of my attention now, so this fix will have to wait. I do apologize. I changed how classes are stored, (sorted by time now, to make the itinerary more helpful than it used to be) and every site function that looked through the classes needed revision, and I missed this one. Mclimbin
I'd like to recommend that everyone consider taking Seth Amsden's class on Miniscapes. Seth is an amazing artist and an even more amazing teacher. Here in Northern California he is known as the Hobby Sensei. :) He is the kind of guy who makes everyone around him a better painter, and not only that, but a better artist. He has given me substantive, detailed, and profound comments on every one of my award winning models that I have painted in the last 5 years. He is a huge reason I won those awards. Take this class, people! You will love it! :) (no, I'm not working on commission ;) )

He helped me level up my basing quite a bit. Very nice guy, very smart, awesome instructor.
