klarg1 35127 Report post Posted July 5, 2017 Having a concrete date for ticket sales has prompted me to go over and give the class schedule a serious examination. I have to say that I'm excited about the slate of offerings this year!

I'm hoping that my wife will have the day off so I can have her snag my classes for me...

Wish I could, but I have a conference planning meeting at 9 am and we are moving our servers to a different cold room that same morning. I'll be playing pickup at lunch or that evening. Which is fine by me... I'm still going to get a few great classes and I can schedule some of my "patreon" time with my mentor as well.
klarg1 35127 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 (edited) I scheduled a critical meeting on the morning of Friday, the 14th. Strangely, it seems that I neglected to invite anybody to join me in said meeting. Edited July 6, 2017 by klarg1

nakos 3459 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 I'm glad that there's going to be more classes this year. I won't have any funds for classes when they go on sale. I'll have to wait and see what's open Aug 1st.
Inarah 29996 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 There are always people who, for various reasons, have to change plans and end up selling back their classes. So, just because a class sells out on day 1, doesn't mean seats won't open up in the future.
klarg1 35127 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 (edited) I wasn't able to buy classes on day one last year, and there were still a bunch of things available when I was able to log in. Jumping in right when things go live helps if you are fixed on one or two key classes, especially if they are from popular instructors, but you should be able to find something fun, and interesting much later than that too. Pegazus 34270 Report post Posted July 6, 2017 Yeah, last year I worked really hard to get those classes I absolutely needed... and a week later very few of those classes had sold out. My tastes differed from the main attendees that much. Works out for me, of course.

By about 10 minutes after class registration started working, I think all of them were sold out. Apparently I have pedestrian tastes. Or perhaps refined tastes in a refined crowd. ... I'm going with that last one.
