Band of Brothers AUSF D Half-Track (German)

Recommended Posts

Thought I would Try my hand at something different. My dad ordered the Band of Brothers learn to play bolt action set, Knowing him it would never get built or painted so I took it apon myself to expand my painting portfolio and get some amazing historical miniatures under my belt. The plan was to shoot for right around tabletop standard and once I do a little more weathering and get the decals on I'm going to call that my tabletop +. As always feed back is both appreciated and encouraged. If you see something you like feel free to ask how I did it, I'm usually good at getting back to people. If you liked this and would like to see more work like it please feel free to follow me here or on my Facebook page facebook.com/TabletopGlory

I would hit that with at least a pin wash of Dark Umber (I personally avoid black as I feel its to stark looking). The wash will help the details pop, but keep in controlled, don't liberally douse the whole thing. I'm not sure what you are going for with what looks like white in the picture. While nothing is truly wrong when doing camo, white would certainly be unusual. A dark yellow would be more appropriate, but as I say nothing is truly "wrong".

Here is Glen's WIP on his STuG III:

its actually a sandy cream color but my phone doesn't like that color for what ever reason and it always looks bright like that.

Bolt Action is designed for 28mm, yes. However, like any set of miniature rules you can adjust it to any scale. One of the easiest is to convert inches to Centimeters and play it in 15mm. To be clear if the measurement is 6" for 28mm just substitute 6cm for 15mm.

You might try editing the white balance on the picture to bring the color closer to what it should be.

Hello everyone, here are pictures of a cute but deadly little lady goblin. 14178, Skralla the Reven Hero was sculpted by Jason Wiebe. I painted her with Reaper MSP paint.

According to the rumours; Skralla grew up near the Shores of the Sea of Stars, far from Monglash. She heard the tales of Razig and his undead crew, and has always wanted to join them. Knowing that Razig would never accept her unless she proved herself a true pirate, she raided Aizen Krahl one night and emerged with one of the dwarves' coveted guns and a trail of bearded corpses behind her. Now that she has the guns, the murder, the pillaging, and the rumming down, she has thrown in her lot with Varaug in hopes of meeting Razig one day and joining him. If only she had stolen ammunition, or knew how to load the wretched thing. Still, it serves her well with a blade tied on, and maybe Razig can teach her shooting.

Hello everyone and Happy Halloween. Here are pictures of the model I completed Yesterday. 14288, Soriel the Overlords Hero was sculpted by by James van Schaik for the Warlord line.
He's a mercenary NPC in the D&D campaign I'm running. I like the unusual shape of his exotic sword / axe. Enjoy!

Hello everyone, sorry for this guy lack of decent clothing. I guess it makes sense to be dressed like this when you're a slave fighting in the scorching arena of Thule.
This Warlord 14652, Necropolis Chattel model was sculpted by Stefan Niehues.

Good Friday everyone, here are pictures of the mini I'll be using as a necromancer in my upcoming D&D game.
14060, Leisynn the mercenary mage is one of my top 5 favorite model. It was sculpted by Tim Prow for the Warlord game.
