But, objectively, DPD do provide a better service in the UK than the other service providers in that they provide information about what's happening to your order in their process, give you a delivery time slot and provide plenty of options to adjust what happens (reschedule, leave with neighbour, deliver to another address etc.) while the parcel is in transit. No other service provider in the UK (Parcel Force, Royal Mail, MyHermes, UPS, and so on) does that in my experience. How local DPD organisations/teams execute on that service protocol might vary, I guess. I was a little disturbed to see the tracker move on to wave 6 yesterday considering that I am in wave 5 and have not yet received any shipping notice. Dunno if the tracker is down or there are issues at the hub, but I expect if you haven't had your shipping notice by now then there's no chance of delivery this week.
