Laoke
My wave 1 shipment to New Zealand, reshipped from the US through a 3rd party vendor, has passed customs and should be in my hot little hands tomorrow - looks like I got the value about right, no duty due. Note for those playing along at home: this is not a shipment that got put in the container to Australia with the rest of the Asia Pacific orders. I had it shipped to Portland, Oregon & then reshipped it myself to NZ. So while it's a Wave 1 shipment arriving in NZ, no one should think it means that the container has landed. I'm simply putting a stick in the snow so that when the Asia Pacific stuff starts arriving I know how much quicker & more expensive it was doing it this way, so I can make valid comparisons with future Kickstarter shipping options. If I make a significant KSIV order I'll be looking into how to do shipping to Japan also. I am hoping Reaper will give the option of opting out of zone shipping and just having it sent direct.

Some people will happily take a 1-2 month delay in delivery to avoid significant duty payments (please note: I know full well that won't happen with anyone outside Australia with the Asia-Pacific container, unless I've significantly misunderstood The Arrangement™). Others want the packages as quickly as possible, and elf the consequences. And if you make it so that backers can select which option they want, I guarantee you that it'll confuse an extremely vocal minority of backers. You want to give people options, sure, but there's something to be said about simplicity, especially when it allows you to use economies of scale to get a good price on shipping. Add in that you're creating a potential new failure point into a shipping process that needs to be as simple as possible and I think it might be counter productive for Reaper to try and be all things to all backers. It's also worth pointing out that you did have the option during Kickstarter 3 to decide to opt out of zone shipping and have it sent direct. It's precisely what I did. I applaud Reaper for taking actions to at least try and meet one of those competing imperatives. I also applaud myself for learning from the frustrations of the previous two Kickstarters, and taking as much ownership of the shipping conundrum as I can to try and tailor make a solution for my entitled man-baby requirements. I'd be really interested to know whether this was the shipping plan from the get-go: it would explain why the shipping costs we were quoted during the Kickstarter were so dang reasonable. But I suspect that's proprietary information that Reaper will decline to discuss. Edited June 11, 2017 by Laoke

Dan Goodchild
After receiving the tracking update that my shipment was delivered on Wednesday, I went over to my US P.O. Box to pick them up yesterday. UPS deliveries to the USPS sometimes take a day or so before USPS processes it and makes it available so I always wait a couple of extra days. Plus, yesterday was @Thrym's Finger Lakes Paint and Games day so I grabbed a Canadian friend and we spent the day in a truly beautiful region of New York with some American friends, then came home with a huge Box O' Bones. To top it all off, upon our return, I got a very kind and friendly customs agent. She smiled and laughed when in response to the standard question "Did you buy or receive anything" I replied "yes, I got a boatload of tiny plastic monsters". She asked me a bit about them so I described them and told her about the hobby aspect of painting them (and that painting them was why we had gone to the Finger Lakes region that day). I declared the true value of the box (almost $600 USD) fully expecting to pay my fair share of tax on them but she sent us on our way without charging us Yesterday was a good day. My wife and I are about to begin the inventory process but here's the initial report: Shipping box: Signed by Bryan - Thanks Bryan! (It's those little personal touches that set Reaper apart from other companies). Art of Bones (Izzy's art book) - unsigned (I'd have been happy either way, I'll ask her to sign it the next time I get to ReaperCon). 2x Ma'al Drakar - Both in retail boxes! OMG she's huge.

MjrTrauma
Wave 1, Canada. No shipping notification. No delivery notice. No tracking number updated on Pledge Manager. (No rewards magically showing up either.) Contacted [email protected] too, told they would look into it. I know this is unlikely to get resolved before everyone takes off for various conventions, but I'd like to find out what's going on. Thanks. Maglok
Question: I am in the EU and I am going on holiday 17-23 july. Can someone from Reaper enlighten me as to if the shipper you use will be able to hold the package for a week for me to pick up? I have had experiences with some companies letting me pick up for a month while others would send it back after they do not meet me home (at random times) after 2 times. If you don't know can you tell me the postal company you will be using for the EU fulfillment? I didn't figure it would hit in that one week I am on holiday, but due to the update about july being the startdate of shipping in EU... I am kind of worried. Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted June 12, 2017 Moderator Share Posted June 12, 2017 My box arrived when I was getting ready to leave for work, so while I took a quick peek inside, I haven't done anything more. Will have to Ooo and Ahhh later when I check inventory. Nothing signed and no retail box for Ma'al. Unfortunately I also was dinged with a $28.00 tax charge. Now the long wait for the workday to end. I'm off tomorrow so plenty of time to go through box later.

Nunae
If an international package can't be delivered, will it be returned to your international partners (the UK one for European orders), or to Reaper in the US?

It would be returned to the appropriate shipping partner in the UK or Australia. That will be the return address. However, all missing items/replacements should be directed to us, as they were not given more than 2-3% surplus supply to accommodate pulling errors, and have not the resources necessary for error resolution. Pingo
Have now gone over most of my pledge. Every figure seems present and accounted for. Not all of the bits and pieces have been inventoried yet, but so far it looks like every entity is here, with no omissions and no extras. Thanks to Ryan C, who pulled my order.
