Ma'aldrakar (Pic Heavy)

I really love all the colors on your Ma'al, as well as the pattern as it feels like something I would really see out in the wild.

Very cool scheme Siri and you knocked it out in great time.

question: did you assemble with super glue Or some type of epoxie? These big Bones fit together nice which makes me think superglue, but I do worry with all the weight on it.

Super glue, no pinning

haven't seen any issues with it so far, and that includes twisting and holding it at awkward angles to paint it

Brilliant work as always, Siri.  Julie (Guthrie) will be blown away when she sees this piece.

Have yet to show your #1 fan the finished pics but when she saw it at about the halfway mark she sat there with jaw on floor. She was amazed you had already done that much with it. :)  It is very awesome looking!

I have wanted to get into painting for a long time and have watched days worth of videos on it. i think it shows in how my first minis came out.
the first was a reaper kobold and he looks a bit sloppy. (on the card for the hobby holder i got because i could not find anything else to put him on for the pic lol)
next was a blue kobold and a baby dragon, I was still working on how washes work with the blue kobold but the dragon came out better.

now the one i did today

I am pretty proud of him, for being my forth mini i think he looks really good. he is colored like a ring neck snake.

My wife, @Shinma, started to paint the Clockwork Dragon several years ago.
It got to a point where the body was nearly done, and the wings and base remained.

We had prepared a big gear salvaged from a monitor stand, sanded down by a friend.

Then, inspiration and drive was lost and it sat on the shelf, staring at her, unfinished.

Recently she allowed me to finish it. I did the wings, small part of the body, along with the base.
      Here's our result!

Spent just about a week on this one. It was fun. My GS work sucks but it's done. C&C welcome.

I mostly modelled this off Michael Proctor's paint job, and used it as an exercise in learning to push contrast and glaze unlike colours. The photos make the colours seem to little more vibrant than they are in real life. Overall very pleased with the result!

      WIP Thread here
I finally finished this dragon. I took a lot longer for the base because I got a little carried away, but I'm really super happy with how it came out.  To begin, this was a request from my mother in law to take inspiration from a set of china she has.
      Here's the plate

In the end though I'm really happy with how the dragon come out and took lots of pictures:

I'm going to do my best next time to rein in the base a bit, but I'm super happy with how this came out.
