These were the third installment of my Bones 1 WIPs.
Which is metal? Which is BONES?
You'll have to check out the WIP to decide!
Hope you enjoy, and I hope it helps people see that there isn't always a loss of detail between BONES and Pewter.
Here is my Callie.
I painted her as a second WIP for my BONES 1 attempts.
I really like the sculpt. I painted her as a half-orc or orc. She has some freckles, nice green gems, and some ivy freehand on the cloak.
Here is a link to the WIP.
So my son and his friends have asked me if I would run them a "Star Wars D&D game".
They were thinking that I would use 5e, but given that there are Star Wars specific RPGs out there, it seems picking one of those up would be a better idea.
Went to the local FLGS thinking I would just pick up whatever the latest version is, only to find out that there are apparently several different versions now available? I got seriously confused as to which was which (the FLGS shrink wraps their books) and just left with a couple of minis.
So what are the various versions? And in your opinion, what are the pros and cons of each version?
I painted this large water elemental several months back to fill a gap in my water elemental supply. It started out translucent blue, but I painted it opaque. I haven't tried inking the transulcents like others have, I lack the inks, and feel I get good control with opaques. I wanted a simple beach sand looking base, to suggest he has washed up on the beach to harass sunbathers. C&C Welcome.
