I was looking at this Image in terms of what collours I should use.

I would most like use natural colors for the turtleparts but what to with the rest ?

You mean the base?

Or the tail and such?

Eyeballing the size of the barrels and amphorae on the base as probably being ~1/2" long, that's put the dragon turtle around 3-4" long.  Big enough for most purposes I would have, but not something in the same class as the BIG dragons of late.

I'm actually OK with that too. :;):

@Reaperbryan I see, so the final size is still being finalized? Are you able to tell us which sizes you tried out? I'm really hoping it will be big enough to use as a proper DnD dragon turtle! Anyway, thanks for the info!

I've seen 2 of the sizes, but I don't really see everything we do, and I'm not part of the decision tree at that level.

I'm working on the high level planning now, taking quotes and helping define which products are best for early campaign, mid, and late, and then within that helping to define inside each group the specific order of the goals. At this stage I don't even know what the figures are, (not exactly, I have a label for the group). Over the next week I'll start to get into the details of which figures Ron meant when he said add level [redacted] or level [redacted]. Names like "wizards" aren't even final names, and while that gives away a TON of information, it's not specific enough to qualify as me knowing which figures are in the project yet. I'll come along and, in a meeting with Ron, decide whether "Wizards" is a good name for the level, or used on what's in it does it need to have a fancier title. At that point I'll see the model(s) involved, and we'll make the final tweaks to the chart, where we try to put the ones with the most enthusiasm generating ability to reveal and target goal where we estimate the enthusiasm will be most needed.

I'm not even sure any of that made sense. For me, I'm working on a spreadsheet with multiple tabs, and the only Tab I work on right now is the one where I take the goal titles and organize them. Ron's assigning figures to the goal names, and Ed's sanity checking our decisions and working on quotes and numbers and money.

Here's to hoping there is a Halfling Group!

I'm suspicious of the 'coincidently' placed right flipper that covers what the turtle is mounted on. But otherwise, looks great!

Well, they do try to make these forums family friendly, so... you know. Had to hide things.

/THAT'S A JOKE! I'm sure it's either a clear stand, or some coral, or shipwrecky stuff.

Gotcha! Thanks for the insight Bryan! @Reaper Ron, are you able to comment on the size of the beast?

I've noticed a few posts in this thread from people saying they're still waiting for their Bones III Kickstarter orders.. There any truth to that? I'd like to think the items would be shipped within a reasonable amount of time once the campaign ends and that one was 2 years ago from what I've seen.

Those would be the over seas packages being distributed at the moment. They had to be shipped over seas, so it took longer for them to get to their destination than it is for the US / Canada / etc

Yep, there are still over a thousand backers waiting to get their Bones III orders. Reaper are working to fulfill these, but it's not been a smooth ride. Hopefully they will take on board the learning points for the next kickstarter. I'd factor in a looooooong delivery time if you back, though.

I can be patient (I think lol). Looks like the stuff will be worth the wait. I really am looking forward to seeing what else will be in it besides the three large ones they've  already shown

I'm hoping for a good solid Core Set.

I haven't had a proper fistful of minis I can toss on a table (figure of speech) during a Pathfinder game in years. Now that I have the money, stability, and opportunity, I intend to take advantage. I'll have to buy minis for my current campaign, I expect the Mythos Expansion from Bones 3 to take care of many encounters, but my ideal hope would be that next campaign I'll have a Core Set in hand.
