The Night Before Bones 4 (with apologies to Clement Moore)

 

'Twas the night before Bones 4, and all through the for'm,

Not a creature was stirring, not even a wyrm.

Our Bones 3 figures were all sorted and labeled

In hopes that our Bones addiction would soon be further enabled.

Ma'alldrakar was all assembled and Froghemoth glued too,

While all the rest had been washed and paint applied to a few.

And Ma on her laptop and I on my I-pad,

were just figuring out how much spending cash we had.

When over at Reaper there arose such commotion,

as dozen of forumites, were overdone with emotion. 

For everyone knew that tomorrow would bring

all kind of Bones goodies on that Kickstarter thing.

Hmmmm, 5 AM my time.  Do I wake up then to try and grab a Wave 1 slot again, or do I sleep till my usual waking time of 6 AM?

 

Given that my wife has been ill might go for a 6 AM slot, so I don't risk waking her.

We do not traditionally make the link public before launch - we're often editing and improving our presentation right until the last minute.

Seems likely. I'm betting he's switching back and forth from Kickstarter to the forums as we speak. At least two tabs open.

I'm multitasking. At my mother in laws with my wife, working on graphical changes and trying to advance prep as many SGs as is possible just in case. Tabbing back and forth between my two spreadsheets, a google doc with the update text pre-typed for faster updating, the forum, and photoshop.

People sometimes ask me what advice I would give for them if they were to run their own Kickstarter. I either say "don't" or if I'm in a good mood, "have someone else run your Kickstarter"

I get grumpy but truthfully they're fun. Stressful, but fun. Like a haunted house or a roller coaster.
