My goal was to keep this under 5 hrs for painting (mold line removal and greenstuff time not included). I ended up at 3.75hrs. I am not sure if he is 100% done, but he is at least done for now. 

 

Breakdown of time spent painting:

Green Liner - 0.5 hrs

Cthulhu - 3 hrs (most on tail and face)

Rock - 0.5 hrs

Water - 0.25hrs

That is one gorgeous abomination! The pose seems almost contemplative, and the glowing eyes bring that out. As if he's wondering about whether or not that merchant vessel passing by is low in transfats. And in 3 hours....wow.

Well for it to look that good in three hours, you must have spent more time with than that cleaning mold lines and filling gaps.

I didn't track the time, but mold line removal for the whole faction was definitely a few hours. Greenstuff was pretty quick though.

Cthulhu Wars by Petersen Games is the board game it is from. Fenris Games made it and sells individual copies of the minis (I think in resin).
