77008 - Garrick the Bold

I'm not a huge fan of the Sir Forescale model but still feel sad that I don't have one. It seems like a necessity around here. That said it's a nice take on him.

I got mine originally because I wanted a bunch of inexpensive mini's to get back into the game as it where, I have a decent source off Ebay and Garrick was real cheap:) I have him all based and ready to prime, but I just scored a Core set Bones III set, so now I have a TON of mini's to get back into the game:)

I've got all three Bones sets in my hobby room. And a ton of Dark Sword. And the remnants of my GW stuff after they annoyed me enough to get out of their games. In other words, I'll be painting until the heat death of the universe. :)

Oh yah, on top of the bones I have collected AND the core set, I also have a whole bunch of old ral partha/grenadier/etc box sets and loose metal miniatures still to go, including a 50 count (or more) parts cabinet (you know, the ones you use for screws and stuff in a workshop) FULL of miniatures:( My kids may be stuck selling all that when I die:( Oh, and did I mention all my car/sci-fi/military etc model kits:(

'Tis the season! I posted this a while ago before is got paint on him. Santac'Laus has featured in the Christmas one-shot games I've run for the last couple of years (and this year is no exception). He's gone from villain to lovable (but weird) friend, who rides a manta-ray-shaped sleigh, pulled by a team of beholders.

If you're one of my players, please don't read the spoiler!

The hat, sack and present were all made with green stuff. The snow was made with snow powder mixed with water effects.

Hello forum family, I wanna share with ya all my most recent fatigue: Marthragul!
I was in doubt if painting it into a realistical Earth dragon, or something more colourful... The Magenta won! :D
And I chose to don't cut corners, so no drybrush, no washes, no feathering... just dear, old layering, shading and glazing
...cause I'm a fast painter, as you know

And, yeah! This took me almost a month of at least two hours per day... basically I hate this dragon now

Enough talking, time for pics :D

I really hope you like it, if you have any question do not hesitate :)
As always every C&C is more than welcome.
      Thank you :)

And some treasure/objective tokens with Bones bits and various other stuff (Alkemy, Oathsworn Miniatures, GW, and even Ex-Illis) :

I painted this guy up, despite having eyes on Gale Force 9's Behir for my personal use. Decided to go ahead and liquidate it in a certain auction site, but so far, no takers. Ah, well. It's still a nice looking mini, so it doesn't hurt to have one around until I manage to finish painting the GF9 Behir... Comments, recommendations, and suggestions are appreciated.

So this is fun, because I can show you folks the Christmas presents I'm working on, so it's like I get to give them twice. Anyway, here's my take on her, really enjoyed going for a winter feel.
