Wow amazing piece! Could you share the colors used on the red, I find it useful to know combinations that "work" on some tricky colors, like red. I really like the gradient to that orange, looks perfect.

Thanks! For the red I used paints form the Scale75 Creatures From Hell Set. The ones I used were Hastur Purple, Mayhem Red, Tiamat Orange, and Marduk Yellow.

Thanks! I don't have that set; so I will have to check for alternates on the regular Red SC75 set.

 

Or buy more paints, of course.

Basically any vibrant warm purple, red, orange, and yellow should work.

I am glad I spent the time to finish her. I almost set her aside to focus on my diorama but I was so close to being done, I decided to push through it. I do need to pick someone's brains at con about painting feathers.
