They need to make an international pledge without the 110V PSU, and either add a 230V or just list the output voltage/amerage of the PSU so that backers can source their own.   PSUs, particularly those with a small transformer in them, are heavy and adds quite a bit to the weight and shipping costs.

The Crypt needs to be battery powered...

Uses water. Keep away from paper and cardboard.

This is the thing holding me back. It would mean no cardstock terrain for me. I use 80-90% Dwarven Forge, but I have quite a bit of WWG terrain and still use some of it...especially the outdoor stuff.

Hmm does that include mdf wood? (commonly seen in laser cut terrain kits)

Unsealed MDF likes to swell in moist conditions, yes. Plywood tends to be more resistant (but by no means does it count as good or even decent moisture resistance).

Yeah, I backed out of this one. I could probably cobble together something workable for about half the cost if I had a gaming group... which I don't right now, so... yeah. *sigh* Too much money for something to sit on the shelf for a year or so.

That was my line of thought as well. I have a big fog machine for halloween, and a few small effects ones, so I passed on it.

Thought long and hard about this one, but ultimately gave it a miss. I decided that there are other things I could spend $100 on, given how infrequently this would see use in an actual D&D game.

Exactly, and not even game use, if I had a practical use for say "effects" in a video or something, I would get it. Maybe once it goes retail, and I need one, I'll get one. It does look cool, but you are right, the 100 bucks is gas for a month for me:)

I think it's really, really cool, but I wonder how practical it would actually be to use in a game.
