Rebel Troopers, Imperial Assault, Fantasy Flight Games

Here is another batch of figures from my work on my Wave 1 Imperial Assault collection.  These are a little more recent, having finished them in late May.

It also represents my second real attempt at a non-caucasian human skin tone.  One of the figures is a more tanned skin color, and the third is more of an African skin color.

I was very pleased how they came out, especially compared to my first attempt.  I followed Sorastro's tutorials, but with Reaper paints.  

My favorite part of these aside from the skin was the blending I accomplished on the pants.

Shirt-Frosty Blue, Washed with Dilute  Nuln Oil, highlight adding the pale blue not-Ghost Blue sample, and then additional white.

Boots and vest: 2:1 Shadowed stone:black, shaded with Nuln Oil, then highlighted with additional Shadowed Stone

Holster and belt: Ruddy Leather Triad, washed with Agrax Earthshade

Skin: Caucasian: Rosy Shadow, Rosy Skin, Fair Skin. Wash: 8:1 Reikland Fleshshade:Drakenhoff Nightshade

         Tanned: 1:1 Tanned Skin:Driftwood Brown, highlight adding Fair Skin

          African: 4:1 Intense Brown:Sapphire Blue, highlight adding Oiled Leather and Tanned Skin

Pants: Terran Khaki Triad

Gun, buckle: Black, Shadowed Steel, Nuln Oil

Splendid work! You went WAY up top with yours; I just did my grunts all tabletop simple. The GOOD jobs were for Darth and Solo...
