There is a always the older metal version of a Dark Elf Queen on her throne from Reaper.

I like her listening to the skull pose “Why Mr. Skully we can’t do that to our captives, giggles, oh you’re right. Guard fetch the comfy Chair”

I just bought a 3.5oz Loctite Go 2 Glue for when my minis arrive. I hope that will be enough. Sadly, I couldn't find a bottle of gel larger than .14oz.

about 60 g of superglue to assemble. That was 10 bottles of .14 oz and 3 gram tube and 15 gram bottle of gorilla superglue.

I suspect that green ghosts may have become a thing because of the Army of the Dead in the LotR movies.

Green ghosts have been a thing before that (think Slimer from ghost busters)

The ghost pirates looked really good in a video I saw. But taking pictures of them it always looks like a green mess. I'm sure all these models will be fine with paint or at least a wash.

On another note: why are ghosts green in the Bones line? Why not grey, white, clear, or idk, blue? Are green ghosts an American thing?

Honestly I wish most of the translucent Bones were just completely clear so we could color them with whatever inks and washes we wanted.  The two Oozes in Darkreach are so dark gray it barely matters that they're see-through.

However, I will agree that the clear Bones have amazing detail, it's just hard to photograph.

When I painted parts of the translucent bones it really helped to bring out detail. I think I also applied some wash that helped on bringing out the detail

It's pretty sizeable at its base. I may actually wind up not using the base, because it'll get in the way for gaming purposes. It looks nice, but it's very large, and very rectangular. I don't have any photos handy, sadly.

Is gel or regular superglue better?  Ive got two of the 3gram things of gorilla blue cap, but am unsure which to get for the rest of it.

Here's a pic I posted a while back:

I only dry fit it together, and so some fangy bits are still on their sprues near the head. It needs some boiling, the base was warped, but it's a very nice looking piece. That's a man-sized old-school bones mini on the front for scale.

Ed recommended loctite gel, I've been using loctite liquid and haven't had any issues. I can imagine the gel being easier in some ways.
