Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

According to Reaper live, they're 60% finished with shipping from the UK hub, and the 2nd container will be arriving tomorrow (so today I guess?) for them to continue shipping. So at least they're getting through those boxes quickly once they reach the hub.

No notification here yet, so I guess my stuff is in the second container.

Wave 1 and locking in fast means nothing for EU.

Nevermind, I hope I will get my stuff soon.

They also mentioned in the Reaper Live that they will NOT be putting extra core/expansions up on the site until AU at least begins shipping and that June was currently planned as the first month of Bones 4 releases.  I know some of our overseas friends were worried about these.

Thanks for mentioning this.

Whole EU was EU wave 1, as there were no waves for EU :)

DPD just sent me a mail saying my packet wel be here on monday :) funnily, it is said to come from RHQ ZOMBIECO LTD, which I guess is their transporter or EU hub

Apparantly I got a shipping notification, NL here. Says tuesday, though I won't be around much that week.

The cobra is not  alone in gate marks.  Underside of Argent's wings has ejector marks.  Just scrape away apply a little bit of putty, sand if you can.  Done.

Mine arrived today.  It was a more modest order than most people here have been getting.  I have just finished inventory and everything appears present and correct.

The only damage I found was in a couple of places on the eaves of Baba Yaga's Hut.  These are easily repaired, but Reaper might want to give some thought to the way it packages its Bones Black products in future, considering their more brittle nature.  More irksome was the sloppy assembly that left a gap between the rear turret of the hut and the main building.  That will take a fair bit of green stuff work.

Overall, though, I'm very pleased with what I got.

Just in case anyone's tracking this:  I got a wave 1 order delivered to New Zealand via a reshipper on Tuesday.  Have any of the Australasian direct orders landed yet?

The boat does not get to AU till the 17th. So said Reaper on the Livestream last night.

Why did the reshipper take so long. Did you have any of the three?

Try being a US Wave 1 backer & getting your order around the same time the UK/EU boat got across the ocean. Of course I had the trifecta of doom, but it was annoying.

How much was shipping? Might try this for future unannounced projects (tm).

We started going through my order yesterday. Core set is inventoried and glued, afterwards we just looked at some of the other stuff, mostly the expansion sets.

Mumlak's weapon is broken, but that's the only problem so far. Even the chicken shag stands well out of the box.

Will make sure everything is here today.

I was fairly slack getting it reshipped:  I probably could have had it a week or two earlier.  I assume there's three orders in particular that delayed people?  I haven't been tracking this the way I normally do : )

I split it into 3 separate $200 NZ orders for boring tax reasons:  this was my first one from Wave 1.  Looks like they're averaging out between $50-$75 NZ for reshipping, depending on package size & weight, with a transit time from the reshipper of about a week.

I did this for Bones 2 & 3 as well.  Apart from anything else I get so much less worked up about it if I'm controlling the shipping myself, and it's worth any additional cost just for that level of control for me.

Oh, and it's using the NZ Post YouShop service for the reshipping.  I looked at other options but they cost the same if not more so I went with the easiest option.
