Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

Recommended Posts

I'm going to be selling a bunch of my old gaming stuff at a convention flea market this Sunday; hoping to finance Darkreach and Lost Valley.  Maybe an extra set of Ghost Pirates as well...   I need to fund my Bones addiction!

As my first kickstarter this is both fun and excruciating. It's nice to have something fun to look forward to but it's so faaaaar away :(

Hoping for a new mini in Friday's update! (and/or the Efreeti/Djinn/Bard sculpts)

I don't look at it like that.  I see it as we have so long to add funds to buy more goodies and then once that deadline hits we will only have like 6 months to go.

Actually seven, but I totally agree with you on this outlook:) Yup, plenty of time to build up our warchest of mini's, then just a few months till they arrive (if the ship date is accurate, which I am hoping it is).

when's the next update? is it tomorrow?

Yes tomorrow there will be an update.  Updates are on the 1st and 3 Friday of each month.  Except for the next couple of months we won't get the 3rd Friday updates if I remember correctly.

Scrooge did a little jig as he made his way to the bedroom window and threw it open.  He felt positively giddy.  There was a young boy passing in the street below, and he called down to him. “I say, what day is this?”

”Why, it’s Update Day!” The boy replied.

Happy Update Day, everybody! And God bless us, everyone!  :bday:

Scrooge turned back to the boy.

"Do you know the figure manufacturer, in the next street but one?", Scrooge inquired.

"Reaper? I should hope I did!", replied the lad

"An intelligent boy!" said Scrooge. "A remarkable boy!  Do you know if you can still pledge for their latest Bones Kickstarter? The large one?"

"What, the one with so many figures that the shipping box will be as big as me?"

"What a delightful boy!" said Scrooge. "Yes, my good lad!

"The pledge manager is still open!" replied the boy.

Seeing as there wasn't a thread yet, I wanted to share another project that just hit Kickstarter, "DEPTHS OF SAVAGE ATOLL"

It's a great project I was happy to be involved with, doing some of the FDM print testing.  Everything looks great and prints well!
