Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

The answer is both.

You need Argent so your kids have a dragon for their Rey and Finn dolls to ride on. You need Dance of Death for a table centerpiece.

OMG! If argent is big enough for my kid's SW figures, he's gonna be HUGE! I mean, after all, the figures are like a foot tall::o:

If the pledge manager extension is meant to cover a delay in overall production and delivery...

I would be okay with that.

No, seriously. It means less chance my shiny new paints will be delivered in a snow storm.

All my Star Wars figures are four inches. Isn’t that the standard?

The standard figures are 4",but there have also been a couple lines of 12" deluxe figures

Ahhh, yaassssss! Ima get all the low priority stuff too!

Oh, fun stuff, I had this dream last night that I was adding stuff on in the pledge manager and there were like, 50 more things in the fantasy scenic set! And you could order them all separately!

The things included: a full Atlantis type temple, several boats of various make, a statue of Pan, and six statues of dancing girls (Greek style).

They have some 12 inch "action figures" too. From a doll collector's standpoint they're kinda terrible.

This update was very much a good news/bad news update for me.

The bad news is that the stuff I don't want looks great, the stuff I wanted to hear something about is ignored, and they're going to probably delay getting the stuff I paid for to me.

The good news is that I don't have to down-size other nerdy expenditures now that I know my Bones 4 purchase won't be increasing.

I wonder what the big unveil is for July 6th, that's the day before my birthday.

Will it be cake?

Oh no not Kickstarter cake, people will hate it no matter what it is lol.

That's an excellent point, I very definitely agree.

It would also going to give me time to actually finish (more of) the minis I already have.

I spent 4 hrs painting one human mini today. Even at an optimistic 8hrs/week of painting time, I can anticipate my Bones4 order lasting me 5+ years... I'm a little daunted.

I was also hoping we would get some word about the frost giants. Guess we won't be getting what we paid for.

Maybe that question can be brought up at the livestream on the 29th.

A lot of folks here got really bent out of shape about that topic not too long ago. Instead of repeating that performance again, I think Ratmaster2000 has made an excellent suggestion.

I'd really like to see the Spartan and Amazon statues painted up. They're neato.

There's going to be a few statues without plinths once mine get here::P: I just don't know what I am re-purposing the plinths for yet?

Seeing as there wasn't a thread yet, I wanted to share another project that just hit Kickstarter, "DEPTHS OF SAVAGE ATOLL"

It's a great project I was happy to be involved with, doing some of the FDM print testing.  Everything looks great and prints well!

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/depths-of-savage-atoll-3d-printable-tabletop-model/description
