I didn't just because I almost never look at the last one I got. It's cool but just not cool enough to take the place of MORE minis.

Out of curiousity I looked at my backed project list on kickstarter. I know I bought more and more with each Bones run. It's kind of misleading as it doesn't show the pm addons. Pretty steady at about $250-300 pledged per kickstarter. My bank account will argue emphatically that isn't right. A couple stayed that low most went to nearly double that. Good thing I don't pledge that often. On average 1 a year.

I just hung a couple of extra shelves in my workspace for unpainted miniatures. I had 3 shelves prior to this for unpainted and WIP's. I also rearranged all of the minis on the existing shelves to free up as much room as possible for the approaching minipocalypse that is my Bones 4 order. This gives me about 3 and a half completely empty shelves to put everything on. And you know what? I don't think it's going to be nearly enough.

5 orders mostly small.  I went small on this KS, except for dinos.  I got all the dinos.

unfortunately, Mini-spawn has moved out of her dino phase.

If I had know about how different bones black was I would have gotten dreadmere expansion, I like the sculpts.  I will look for it second hand.

We got.... too much, all in one order..   Well, I say too much, but we got exactly what we wanted, and a few extra core sets because we ALWAYS wind up with a friend or two at our table who laments missing out, and now we can resolve that.... and those were in a second order.  So I suppose 2 for us..   We learned in bones 3, that if you were even slightly unsure, you would come to regret not picking something up.   So I think we got just about everything.

The one thing Rainbow actually requested was the art book... so of course we got one.

Especially if you don't like it, retail costs more so you can make money on dislike.

slightly bummed this kickstarter that they were releasing the metal bones sculpts from bones 4 before we ever shipped. might have held back on ordering some of the stuff from bones 4 had i known i could pick and choose some of the stuff. oh well. kinda feels like this kickstarter was just some stuff they were already doing and just tossed together rather than stuff they'd wanted to do but weren't able to yet. still excited to get my shipment. always look foreward to more mins.

That’s not something new. They’ve done that previously, and it’s only a small selection of minis compared to everything on offer in Bones during the kickstarter.

I’ve bought the metal releases of the minis I especially liked and want in the quality that metal has to offer.

I do wonder if the new Bones Black material will cut into the sales of metal versions.

That’s assuming that Reaper offers any of the Bones Black minis in a metal version going forward that is.

Izzy is a good friend so i have to add that one. I got the first one signed a couple of Rcons ago & much to my surprise, she sketched out a goblin in armor, along with the sig.

This is so true with the Dreadmere expansion for me. Love the turtle, love the critter duo, but not enough at 50. Especially considering allot of that expansion has seen metal releases already. (human size minis)

I didn't get the artbook.

I like it, but I would probably only look at it once or twice, I have an artwork book from the deluxe game edition from Heroes and Might and Magic V, I loved it, but I haven't looked at it in years.

So it's probably not something I want to pay for.

As for some of the minis also getting metal versions which are released before the KS fulfilled.

That's not new like the big tiger said, and it is the reason I didn't pledge for the core set.

There are a few things I like in there, but those are most likely to be released in metal.

I went in for the additions and big things.

I did get the artbook. I sometimes like lying in bed or sitting in an armchair looking at books. Have done that with the D&D books and other artbooks I own many times, surely it'll work for this one as well.

Also, it's nice to have something that will be ready to use out of the box, instead of making me feel bad about not finishing it for years to come.

I ordered the book, Izzy's artwork is awesome ::D:

I just checked the pledge manager, apparently I made 9 orders. This is the first kickstarter that I've managed to get everything I wanted, mostly because of the time the pledge manager was open.

I got the artbook as well. Just like last time cause Izzy is amazing.

I passed on the chronoscope pack though. A few things I'd want there, but not enough to justify the whole thing.

I haven’t backed any of Bears Heads kickstarters yet, but I’ve been tempted by everyone.
This is the one that I give in to.
      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/98300108/narthoks-the-excellent
But hurry! It’s funded with ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT!

As nice as that sculpt is, it’s the sci-fi and bartender versions I’m most excited about. The stretch goals for those have been reached, but only concept drawings are available to show.

I think these are great unique looking eye beasts.
@TheAuldGrump maybe something you could use for your campaign?

Here we are in 2015, the 40th Anniversary of Chaosium as a game company. In a few months Glorantha, Greg Stafford's fantasy game world, celebrates its Golden 50th anniversary. We feel the time is right to bring the celebrated classic second edition of RuneQuest back into print. Gaming is going through a bit of an Old School renaissance as of late, and we want RuneQuest to be a part of it. We hope you’ll join in on the fun!

      REWARDS:
The RuneQuest Hardcover Book - is 144 pages. It will have sewn binding. It contains all the 2nd edition text, but with all the errata incorporated where it belongs. Additional material has been added to the appendices at the end. If you want more than one copy of the book, add another $30 for each additional book to the level you are backing.

The RuneQuest Leatherette Hardcover Book - is 144 pages. It is in red leatherette with gold foil stamps on the front and spine. It has a color dust jacket. If you want more than one copy of the book, add another $50 for each additional book to the level you are backing.

The Player Handouts - are 20 pages of reference material for the players to use during character creation and ongoing play.

The GM Screen - is two 11 inch x 17 inch (very close to A3 paper size) color cardstock panels with handy charts and tables from the Rulebook on the GM side, and classic Luise Perrene art on the Player Side.

The Old School RQ Source Pack - consists of four of the earliest RQ1/RQ2 supplements published: Militia & Mercenaries, Scorpionmen & Broos, Trolls & Trollkin and the Balastor's Barracks scenario. Each is about 16 pages in length with a color cardstock cover. If you want more than one copy of this Source Pack, add another $50 for each additional Source Pack to the level you are backing.

The Runequest Playtest Manuscript book - is a 250+ page hardcover book created from high resolution scans of the original playtest manuscript. This manuscript is the only known set of playtest notes in existence which were lovingly kept in a binder for the last 40 years. This playtest material was used to create the first edition of RuneQuest. It includes newly written introductory essays by Steve Perrin and Greg Stafford. Here's a few pictures of the original:

The 2 volume "Unpublished Scenarios and Source Material" set - is two hardcover books with hundreds of pages of unpublished RuneQuest material by Greg Stafford and other early authors. It includes a fair bit of Sorcery rules for the West, the Howling Tower scenario set in the Upland Marsh, as well as a wide range of other material, esoteric and otherwise. We will describe it in more detail in the comments section and the FAQ. This reward is only available as part of this Kickstarter.

Into old school RPGs, love Glorantha/Runequest ?

then this one is a great choice

SITHRAH is a sci-fi about a little girl trying to find her father after their plane crashes in a unfamiliar land. That's when she starts seeing an invisible creature, called SITHRAH, who has been following her around. It's not long until she runs into a young man named Dino who is running from his own ghosts. Together they set out to find her missing father wherever the evidence leads.
Book 4 will focus on their journey across The Deep to try to find Light City.
This series will be 6 books long.
Sithrah has been a big experiment with the comic format by mixing subtle prose with comic panels. My hope is to blur the lines between comics, children's books, and novels without making it jarring for the reader.
Most of my inspiration comes from the comic artists of the 90's when I refined my drawing style. Later I became influenced by Miyazaki's movies and storytelling and have been trying to make comics that have a similar depth and feeling.
