Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

Am I the only one who keeps going back into the PM to see what they bought?  haha

I did while it was still possible to see the pics. After that wasn't possible I go stare at https://www.reapermini.com/Bones4 Not sure why I find it more relaxing to stare at pics of minis to come on the computer rather than boxes of unpainted minis on hand. Maybe because they take up less space and I'm not stressing because they aren't getting painted yet.

I was looking for this earlier and couldn't remember/find the link.  So, thanks!

Considering my money situation right now, Bones V will just be wishful thinking for me. My only chance right now is to pledge a$1 and hope that I'll have enough money to add figures to the pledge manager before it closes.

That's pretty much my situation, too.

I have probably answered the "which will you paint first" question several times now with different answers.

So....

I dunno.

Same.

1107 orders?

Really that's it?!  I guess they aren't really serious about getting this delivered in a timely manner!

Orders remaining is the total number of orders.

Also although the tracker is showing wave 1, that’s not accurate. The Australian and European shipments are pre wave 1.

Off topic But I've always wanted to know ... why are the people in the Netherlands called  the Dutch? Why isn't the country  called Dutchland? And what is Holland anyway? is it just a different name for the same thing? or does  it mean signify something different... Like Britain and Great Britain are not the same thing???  I  am I 100% curious about these things....

The best answer I've heard is that someone didn't know his geography, and confused Deutschland with their neighbors, Niederlande.

Holland is a region in the Netherlands.   Referring to the Netherlands as "Holland" is a bit like referring to all of America as "Texas" or "New England."

As for Bones IV...I want my wraiths.

And Blacksting.

And Dreadmere.

And my dinos...

Last Kickstarter I didn't have a job, and yet I had saved money specifically for Bones 4. I probably could have used it for other things during the hard times, but......

Okay sure, but by the time we feel happy with our new minis, even if its only for a few months, there is then a new KS and more money to chuck wanting more new things. We need more of a breather between KS delivery and a new one. Not just between KS's.

Seeing as there wasn't a thread yet, I wanted to share another project that just hit Kickstarter, "DEPTHS OF SAVAGE ATOLL"

It's a great project I was happy to be involved with, doing some of the FDM print testing.  Everything looks great and prints well!

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/depths-of-savage-atoll-3d-printable-tabletop-model/description
Welcome to "Depths of Savage Atoll" - an island chain on the edge of the world where the currents of the ocean, waves of the sea, sands of the beaches, and old-growth of the jungle are all teeming with life, adventure,  and countless dangers.
Enrich your tabletop RPG or wargaming experience with 3D print-ready minis, monsters, terrain, and buildings from island, nautical, and undersea environment.

This Kickstarter provides character minis, monsters, scatter terrain, buildings, and more for you to produce at home on your FDM or resin 3D printer.
