I think I learned about Baba Yaga from watching Lost Girl. The sidekick is scared of Baba Yaga because of stories her Russian granny told her. Then of course the team meets Baba Yaga and things go badly, then well, and they win.

I got one extra set, pretty much planning on using parts of them for basing and such, or maybe to create some of the variety of skeletons they kind of demonstrated one could do in the video demo.

Im wondering if I can magnetize all the pieces so I can swap heads for different undead creatures.  I only ordered 2 sets and I wish I got 4 maybe even 5 for parts.

I'd heard about Baba Yaga ages ago but I didn't really learn anything about Russian folklore until a GM I was playing for asked all of his players to create characters based on Russian fairy tales. Turned out to be harder than I expected. I mean, everyone's basically named Ivan... The way that Russian folk tales in particular use the same characters (Ivan, Vasilisa, Baba Yaga, Koschei) in different stories like they were actors was really interesting.

You have a very different definition of "Grave error in judgement" than any of us when it comes to bones.

I need a house-stretcher! Or to clean my craft room... yeah, a house stretcher seems more likely.

Sounds like it's time to get a storage unit. And then move one of your existing rooms worth of furniture into it so you can put your bones in that room.

Baba Yaga is also in the new Hellboy movie, though early suggestions would say that's not a good thing.

There's a classic D&D module that uses Baba Yaga, "The Dancing Hut of Baba Yaga".  The spell, "Tasha's Hideous Laughter", was created by and named after one of her many daughters.

She also has an entire adventure path themed after in in Pathfinder, "Reign of Winter".  It is a great bizarro module full of Eastern European myths ans monsters.

Reaper put out a previous metal version in that line...I prefer the new Bones version.
