So I had not been paying close attention as I thought shipping for the USA was still a few weeks off, but do I understand correctly that US orders are already being shipped and being received?

They are on wave 2 shipping.   There are 3 items that they don't have enough on hand to complete US shipping, but they are on the way, and should be at the factory any day.  Those 3 items are the chicken hut, tree of dispair, and frost gaints.   Currently, to the best of our knowledge they are out of chicken huts, but still have some of the rest.

Q: What does that mean for you?   
A: If you don't have any of the 3 on your list, absolutely nothing.  You will get your items when your wave ships.   If you have one of the items that they are out of when they get to your order (for now, just the chicken hut), then your order will be set aside until the last shipping container comes in.   When it does, they will stop what they are doing, and go back and fill the orders previously set aside, then resume normal shipping.

Total fulfillment of US orders is expected  to take 6~ish weeks.  We are on week 1.

I’m not complaining about bonus paint.  But it was reported enough by Canadian people already that this was happening.  So I guess I thought while they were setting up for USA shipping they could have assigned someone to check it out.  I hate seeing them have to spend money they didn’t need to in order to correct all of these.  Especially the EU and Aussie bundles on the water already being too late.

Wave 1 (minus the orders that had the trio of doom, and at this point only the hut is an issue, I had Frost giants) has pretty much shipped and they moved on to wave 2. Mine is expected to be delivered tomorrow , my live youtube unboxing is scheduled for Wednesday.

I feel the same way. It's only 30 miles away!

 

My guess is that mine will show up while I'm in the middle of the training session I'm doing tomorrow - meaning I'll be stuck on the phone in my office while the package sits on the front porch, taunting me on the cameras.

ugh, looks like I was skipped because of the hut. I was on the fence about that thing and it was the very last item I added. between the delay and the legs not being removable, I'm having significant regrets about getting it. I would rather pay $20 to get my box in wave 1 then have the hut on perma-legs.

 

While I have plenty of metal to paint, I paint bones with the kids. It pains me to tell them they will have to wait even longer for the box of goodness.
