Edit: Though it would be weird for him to have to pick it up at the customs office, since the package is from an EU country and should go through without customs getting involved.

As i said earlier in this thread, UK postage systems had "customs" forms EVERYWHERE when posting to EU due to Brexit originally ending on April 12th, to "avoid" the charges, if they can prove they were posted before we left you would avoid extra charges etc.

 

Royal Mail FedEx and Hermes were all filling them in when i was posting to a friend in France :)

But you haven't left the EU, so DHL or whoever else ends up with those packages would treat them like domestic orders with  an annoying amount of water in between.

 

And for that person to have gotten a customs letter, like he claims, German customs would have gotten the order sometime last week and I guess we would have heard of other EU customers by now.

Ahhh, yep, my postage notification was in Spam too! Poor email. 

 

My box should be arriving at my in-law's tomorrow!! Time for a dinner date over there!

Wait???? you have multiple expansions??? in hindsight, I should have ordered a second core set.

Yeah - I was so excited for the Darkreach expansion...and I needed two of each raft.

 

In hindsight, I wish I had gotten a second lost valley. Mostly because DINOSAURS

On first glance, everything appears to be here. But I have to go back to work, so I cant do a full inventory. But...only 2.5 hours left of work! Then I can revel in my Bones and do a full inventory.

I ordered 2 Cores, and 2 Chronoscopes. only one each of the other three, but I was sorely tempted. On the other hand, I ordered 3 additional Ape attack,  Snake cultists, and Cave dwellers (RAT OGRES!!), 2 extra Goblins,  and 1 extra of Gauth, Monsters, Demons and devils, Kobolds, Ghost pirates, Sophie and friends, and the Elves. Now that I look at it, I might have been better off getiing an additonal core set for 20$ more and and reducing my core extras by 1 each across the board. Would have been an additional 76 minis for 20$. My dwarfy little heart just broke at passing up that deal. Oh well, lessons learned.

Ooh 2 chronoscopes, nice! I got one myself, wanted to be a completeist on expansions:) Hoping that some cores (and maybe others depending on how much I like) go on sale a while after the dust settles on Reaper website. Hopefully not too much over the Kickstarter price.

My package arrived!

Yesterday I finished inventorying my Kickstarter packaged ( celebrated by a pic of me in the box). After 31.4 lbs of piecing together every figure, I only ran into 2 issues:  half of Paint Set B was actually Paint Set A (as has been reported by several other people); and for the High Rollers set, the D10 fellow had the base for the D12 figure (the D12 figure itself had the correct base). The last part makes sense, considering that those two figures are the only ones in that set where the bases are not connected by sprue to the figure. Emailed Reaper last night, they've already sent the replacements for them (and gave Mama-san scritchies for me while she was supervising the help desk).

 

All in all, that's an amazingly small amount of issues for such a small undertaking, and I want to thank Reaper for doing such a fantastic job getting through this with a minor amount of issues on my end. True, it's not fun having to wait for a little while for issues to get ironed out before they were able to get shipped, but I appreciate the fact that there are far less issues after receiving the package than I had with Bones 3. Not to mention that I didn't have to pay import duties for such a huge package, that would have bankrupted me. I hope everyone enjoys the figures when they get them as much as I do!
