I like it quite a bit. Except where minis are partially assembled in such a way as to make painting or finishing the assembly difficult.

Please don't glue the minis if you're not going to do the work to glue them right!

^^ 100% this.

My spider has a broken leg that is going to be a major pain to reattach due to the rest being glued already. Other than that, an elephant tusk and something else that I can't recall right now were my only breaks. Only one of which is going to be more than a minor inconvenience.

I am missing a few things from my order and ended up with two of the aged statues instead one new and one aged for one of the sets. The only other thing I can thing of is the mislabeled, but correct color of paint.

Oof. It gets better and worse! Reaper was more on top of our order than we were. We both wanted a cobra, but only ordered one. And Fire Elemental, lovely spouse that she is, didn't put in her order for wraiths like she wanted. Hmmm. What does that mean?

Did we mean to only get one cobra? Whose was it? We could fight over it, or we could just give it to the first person to paint it... which is the probable outcome.

Yeah, agreed. A lot of the assembly doesn't look like it went well. Will have to take a closer look at things tomorrow.

Mumlak's ears are going to be a pain in the bum to fix they're glued in so badly.

It is super frustrating to me because the material itself is really easy to work with, and the sprues are well cast such that they fit together great for a hobbyist. Then some stuff got pre-assembled and done badly. What?!

I'm undecided about the new material. I have looked at 43 minis so far and I have 3 broken parts. Frost raider hilt broken in baggie, rock troll foot in the baggie, and the jungle king with his tusk, which is missing. The jungle king comes in a box, but the plastic insert was broken inside the packaging. =(20190415_184046.thumb.jpg.e3e496a4ef88a9ca8169557c6aeaf1b2.jpg

You certainly got the worst of it, I haven't seen anyone else post that much carnage in their package. Perhaps the courier abused it a bit? Either way, since Bones Black is much more fragile, I think there needs to be more care made in packaging the figure.

Random fact: Reaper paints fit perfectly in the Lord of the Jungle box (pretty sure it would hold two levels of paint for a total of 48 paints in this box - but I only just got 24 new paints).

The shipping box's structural integrity was compromised when it arrived. Upper portion was a lot more squishy. Like I could hug it and it would squish a little instead of having the rigidness of a new box.

I think some is the nature of the boxing too. The only weak spot I saw in my box was the caribou on the giantess's back, which is really narrow, and they're tossed in the box clunking around. The clunking around with a ton of stuff is going to be rougher than in retail when they're blister-packed, and worse than they'll see when they're being used for even harsh table-topping on average.

That seems to be the issue with miniatures in general.  The better the detail the more fragile.
