I use an over the door shoe holder thing for my unpainted miniatures. It's nice because I can organize them by the different shoe compartments and see which one are full/empty

This is brilliant and I'm stealing it.

(The idea, not your shoe holder.)

For smaller stuff, I invested in a few of the IKEA ALEX Drawer Unit with Casters. It also comes in white. And I got a really good deal on a yard-sale second-hand china cabinet for some of my bigger stuff.

Good luck on getting the legs off. I tried as I was simply wanting a spooky house. Gave up on that. Too bad cause the house itself looks great.

Make it a spooky house on a hill and then cut a hole in the hill for the legs to fit into! ::P:

Mine's got a scarred leg now with the one failed attempt at cutting. Just nicked it a bit and knew it wasn't going to work. Not sure if I'm ready to try boiling the whole house. Really want to get them off with the minimum amount of damage to the legs. Got lots of other stuff to work on while I think about it.

I'd actually considered that too.

I use several of these in different sizes.

Put the boxes and bags in there and those are in my garage.

Afbeeldingsresultaat voor plastic container

We are using similar containers.  I have shallow ones that are just right for holding blister packs, they stack and don't get too heavy.  Yesterday I bought some Sterilite 16qt/15L tubs for the smaller size KS figures we're expecting.  I like being able to see at a glance what is in the tub.  I tape an inventory sheet to the lid of each one.

Hmmm, I do kind of wish we had gotten two of the Hut - I want to see how well a hot knife does at cutting through the Black. (My twenty year old hot knife was made by X-Acto... but I can see neither hide nor hair of a current version by them.)

There is a term for that lantern-on-a-stick... and I know that I used to know it... going to niggle at me for a while. <_< I even remember when I learned the proper name - back when Mordheim first came out.

The Auld Grump

We on't be seeing our Bones for a while - late Wave and contains all of the items that shipped late....

What kind of trays are those?  They look like plastic tackle boxes but I'm not sure.

My large box arrived yesterday.  I'm still working on inventorying everything by SKU.  Once that's done, I'll take a better look at the status of the minis.

So far, I've had the same paint issue as someone else and I got a pack of Spartan statues with two smooth statues rather than one smooth and one distressed.

They are Plano trays.

Here is a pic of where they get stored:

I use two of these under a counter as a desk. One is full of minis and it fits even bigger stuff than you might think. Only the few very biggest things arent in mine.

I also use one for Dwarven Forge storage.

Didn't get the hut, but has anyone tried masking off the bottom with tape and taking a hacksaw to the legs?  It should be long enough, and if it'll cut steel, it should cut Bones.

I didn't follow previous KS thread very closely, but is this level of mis-packs normal, or does this seem higher than previous?  Some of it seems to be stemming from issues at the factory where stuff was bagged up (Modern Scenics missing barrels), and others are just stuff getting picked/packed wrong (Missing Mossbeards, paints etc...).
