I was having the same thought. I didn't measure mine, and didn't really think about it when I was inventorying my box, but I do remember the claim that Argent would be a foot tall. I'll have to measure mine when I get home, if someone else doesn't beat me to it...

I'm wave 3 and had the Frost Giants in my order; I've watched them get to wave 6 with no shipping notice for me. People are modifying, painting and posting their Bones 4 and who knows how long it'll be before I actually get my stuff. All of my enthusiasm has evaporated.

Full disclosure here:

I am not interested in using Baba Yaga's hut with the chicken legs - I want it for scenery only. 

Took about 5 minutes to get the first leg off. This is the saw I used:

 

yes, I damaged the underside of the hut a bit. I don't care, because I'm going to put a small layer of Magic Sculpt on the bottom to blend it in with my scenery. But here's what you'll see:

I didn't follow previous KS thread very closely, but is this level of mis-packs normal, or does this seem higher than previous?  Some of it seems to be stemming from issues at the factory where stuff was bagged up (Modern Scenics missing barrels), and others are just stuff getting picked/packed wrong (Missing Mossbeards, paints etc...).

 

I'd say that this level of errors in fulfillment is, if anything, lower than in the past. Very few major problems other than the paint set issues, which seem to be a problem of labeling sets as "A" on the order and "1" "2" on the boxes, and then using letters on the boxes to indicate the parts of the set. User interface major fail.

 

Further, I've seen many fewer reports of damaged figures this time around (though every one is a tragedy of course ).

 

It looks to me like Reaper has a much better process this time around.

Granted I don't have my order yet, but I don't think the problem of cutting off the feet with a hacksaw is because bones is too hard. It is because the PVC used gums up the tiny teeth in the saw and it stops cutting until cleaned. I would think a  PVC ratchet cutter. A Dremel would most likely melt the plastic and that isn't good either, but would probably work.

And another five minutes of cutting got me this:

 

The house doesn't sit flat because of the stubs of the legs, but I'll fix that with putty.  I may get ambitious and try to make it look like a stone foundation.

Following on the saga of Chicken Hut surgery a couple of thoughts:

First, lubrication to make the saw cut easier/faster.  Either light oil such as WD-40 or sewing machine oil or a fat such as Crisco.

Will help to keep the plastic cooler as well as providing lubrication for the kerf so the saw blade won't tend to bind as easily.

Second, to keep the bottom of the Hut from getting gnarfed a layer of masking tape [blue tape works well].  The tape will scuff before the plastic takes damage and is easily renewed if necessary.

All great ideas! I can't believe I forgot about them.

We did a more thorough check last night, which I highly recommend.  Our frost giant with the caribou had damaged antlers.  Didn't panic, but then I noticed that the arms I thought were unassembled had actually broken off post-assembly.  I'm not going to rush to report my problem because I don't want a replacement until more frost giants arrive.  Moral of the story:  verify that bits have their assembly tabs intact, even if you don't want to test-fit them.
