It's a heavy mini. You would probably need two fairly large magnet pairs per leg for security. (2 pairs to keep the legs from rotating.)

for the most part I'm happy with the minis I got, although there are some minis that are very different sizes than I was expecting. Surprisingly the best mini so far is the blood nebula mercenary who has a slightly better casting than any of the 3 metal versions of that mini I own.

Yes, I have found that too. For the most part, I have been pleasantly surprised most things are bigger, but I was really shocked how much SMALLER the amazon/spartan statues are:(

has anyone else a Blacktooth that leans until his jaw almost touches he ground? I have two and hey both have a super lean, but the legs don’t look bent out of place...I resolved this with shoving apoxie putty under the right foot. Just imagine how much they leaned before I did that, since they are still rather low

Well, color me disappointed, then. They definitely changed the size of Argent, making him far less compatible with Ma'al Drakar as Bahamut to her Tiamat, and they didn't bother to once announce it.

 

It seems they made a lot of changes between the KS and the final product that they didn't communicate to us. Not very satisfied with that, that's for sure...

so argent is smaller, blacktooth has been adjusted to have a major lean forwards (i've looked and looked at mine and it does not seem like a 'oh it just needs to be boiled' lean), baba yaga's hut has had changes, anything else?

I can definitely understand your disappointment, since that is a 4 inch difference.  I wonder why?

 

Personally, I'm excited by this.  I almost didn't get Argent because it was too big for my needs.  If it is 8" tall it fits a niche in my collection between T'rauk and the rest of the bones dragons.

Remember I am no longer official, I am a volunteer, so take this for what it is worth.

 

Orders unable to be filled due to lack of product are not partially filled and stored waiting for that Container.  They would require too much storage space. Too many chances for that partial filled order to be lost, spilled, forgotten, shipped incomplete.  

 

Those orders would be filtered out of the pull list and left unfilled until the Container arrives. Then the filters get reset and those earlier waves pop back to the top of the pull list.

 

I say this as it is how things were done last fulfillment.  There is no stack of wave one orders that are partially filled waiting for huts.  The orders are just filtered aside and not pulled until the product is available. 

 

I readily admit I can be wrong as I am not there or in a communication loop.  Knowing how the system works from a coding side of things lets me make this educated guess to aid in managing expectations.

I should note, that model adjustments are often needed to ensure proper molding and cutting.  I suspect that that happened to the T-Rex.  The images you see in the KS are just that, images; unless it is a physical green, it is just a render from zBrush, and adaptation may need to be made to get it to mold right.  Even physical models go through a similar process (the portal was completely digitized from my original and had to have some resculpt done there to the point where I feel more like a 3D concept artist than the creator of the final).  These steel molds are something we sculptors are still getting used to and we don't always know what will fly and what won't; doubly so with the new Bones Black; thus I am sure China made adjustments.

 

That doesn't explain the size shrink on Argent though, unless it had to do with fitting him on a mold or something like that.

the lean on the rex just means the diorama i wanted to do, and the reason i bought a extra rex and thunderhoof, isn't feasible anymore  so i'll just have 2 of each for gaming if husband ever needs big dinos i suppose

 

it'd have saved me some money to know i wouldn't be able to do the diorama and to not have bought 2

Yeah, but this is a pretty major loss. He's supposed to be Bahamut vs Ma'al Drakar's Tiamat. Being significantly smaller than her is not what I bought him for.

 

Edit: This is definitely one of those times where clear communication or explanation from Reaper would be appreciated... I wonder if it's worth emailing Reaper's Help line about this at all...
