My Warchief Mumlak had a broken tusk, but it seems to be regluing ok. Seems to be a major problem with this figure.

Given the way the tusks stick out, and the fact that they're being shipped in bags with nothing to protect the tusks, it's not too surprising.  I suspect at retail he'll either be disassembled, or the hard blister pack should help protect him.

I know I've seen some people saying that Dance of Death is smaller than they were expecting. Is that just based on the price (the same as the humongous Barge) or was it scaled down, like Argent? Is Dance of Death still slightly more than 12" tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the upper dragon's wingtip?

I'm not really sure what I expected in size, to be honest. It is certainly tall as an overall figure. The dragons are not as big as others, but I don't think they could be in that configuration. Making them bigger wouldn't matter to me much, personally.

The fertility idol on his hammer is broken off for me, and doesn't want to position well for gluing. It will need pinning and greenstuff to go back. Plus the greenstuff for his horrifically glued in ears. I'm not impressed by Mumlak. He seriously needed to be unassembled.

It's not even that good of a snarling expression and the pose doesn't match the facial expression, IMO.

A quick google search of snarling wolves shows 70-75% of the first dozen results with open mouths. A fair number of those same pictures also show the wolf with it's ears laid back (which can either be fear or aggression depending on other ques from the animals body language).

Wolves don't generally walk along snarling like the guy in the picture here. If it's snarling, it's signaling it's intent to fight if necessary. The pose should be more tense, all four paws on the ground, with the body either set to lunge in attack, or to try and run away.

If I were forced to pick, this would probably be what I'm disappointed in out of everything I got. Although hearing the Baba Yaga's hut doesn't have (easily) removable legs kinda bugs me, too.

Anyway, enough of that! Post some cool stuff!

OK, got my box(es) a couple days ago

I started doing an inventory this morning, and have ran into an issue. You see, I haven't finished (And can't, as my sister already looted a couple, but that's another issue.) The real problem is that I think I have my entire order...

Twice over

So. Where do we go from here?

I think the Dance of Death figures are roughly comparable, each, to Kyphrixis or Narthrax in scale, so more-or-less appropriate for a "Gargantuan" (4" diameter base) creature as per 3.x/Pathfinder. It does feel smaller than anticipated, but I haven't assembled it to confirm the overall height, so I can't say that it actually is. It was just built up in my mind in scope and size.

Basically Reaper has said that they'd like you to use the extra minis to get others into the hobby, i.e. to create new Reaper Addicts just in time for the next Kickstarter.  Then again, if it's a ton of minis then you might want to contact them at [email protected]

Burn some incense at the altar of the patron saint of minis? Offhand, I seem to remember someone saying that Reaper addressed this in their livestream. I can't even imagine how I would react if that happened with my MASSIVE order.

An order like that would be very beneficial to me now due to my weekly d&d games at the FLGS. All these years of not playing but buying minis of all brands (mostly Reaper & prepaints) & I'm still needing minis for adventures. Reading up Dungeon of the Mad Mage right now as that will be the next adventure I run on Mondays. There is allot in there I'm gonna need, if not multiples. One level for example a random encounter is 4 undead beholders....

When you play the game of boxes you win or you die

After this lazy bum decided to wake up he conquered the box from his vile sister. Unfortunately I missed the fight as it was over very quickly before I could get my phone out.
