Finally got my confirm email this morning. Gotta love the arrival date: Thursday May 2nd, my birthday. So I guess I bought myself a future package of minis. According to UPS, my weight is around 28 pounds.

Here's my youngest in the box (Finally):

He has now turned the box into his own personal car:)

Ha!  When I got the big Millenium Falcon lego set, my daughter (7) loved to hide in the box and have me drag it around.

Wow, Happy Birthday! One day after me:) That's how I got away with all my bones 4 stuff, I told my wife they were my birthday present.

My wife while not a fan of rpgs or fantasy, etc tolerates my hobbies so that is fine by me. May is gonna be a good month for me with newest Wave of Wizkids Unpainted minis coming early, Ghost of Saltmarsh releasing later in the month & of course Bones 4 box coming.

Cute kid, I don't think my kids will pose for pictures since one is 21 & the other is 16. ::D:

Oh, and I am still doing all the in depth reviews of everything I have, those probably will not hit till next week, been a bad week here:( Chronoscope was the winner, so those will be first:)

Here's my youngest in the box (Finally):

He has now turned the box into his own personal car:)

You need to secure that better.  If you tape all the way around the box it should hold.

New unscheduled update on the Kickstarter page:

North American Zone Fulfillment: as of tonight, April 26, we have finished all orders that *did not* contain a Baba Yaga's Hut, a Tree of Despair, and the Frost Giant Raiders. In addition, the last container arrived yesterday and we processed and translated it. Today, we went back and started pulling all orders with these missing items. At the end of the work day today, we finished Wave One and  had started pulling into Wave Two. We estimate that there are less than 3000 orders left to pull for North American Zone fulfillment.

I can't believe how active this community is. I was a Wave 14, last minute backer this time because I'd just learned about Reaper, but watching for new info here over the past couple of weeks has spiraled into a hype-saturated obsession. I'm happy to be a part of this, and terrified of how heavy my Bones 5 box is going to be.

For those who have started assembly, how much time have you had to devote to flash/mold line removal? I can't decide whether to just slap'em all together or take it slow and scrape each one first. I get very...meticulous when I scrape, not in a good way. I can spend an hour on one standard sized mini. Part of the appeal of the core set for me is having a massive library of primed, ready to go models to pick through whenever I get the urge to paint, but having to choose, scrape, wash, glue and prime each one individually might kill my inertia. How do people mentally process this massive project showing up all at once?

I see your youngsters also play with Imaginext toys. They're really great.

I don't have pictures of anything in my box yet, except maybe the minis themselves.

Yes, my youngest LOVES Batman, and every time they showed the commercial for that bat cave, he keeps saying "I want that". Drove Grandma crazy, so she bought it for him:) He also has an imaginext batman remote control bat car (well tethered, not really remote), and this HUGE bat mobile, batman figure, PJ's, sheets, anything with Batman on it::o:

I guess it all depends on what you want the mini to be. Is it a mook for a rpg? You really don't need to spend to much time on them vs a hero or memorable villain. Can you glue the piece on & still get to easily for mold lines? If not, then best to clean lines up first then assemble.

If your worried you'll get overwhelmed by the giant box of goodies coming, you can try & take in pieces. When you get your mini, do your inventory to make sure everything is good to go & once that is done, just take out the things you really wanna paint up & put the rest away till your ready to do em.
