Do people glue everything together even if they don't plan to paint it right away?  I glued the little stuff to make sure I had all the pieces, but Blacksting, skeletal dragon, everything with a wing span or large in general I left unassembled.  I mean it packs easier rather then taking up all that space on a shelf for a year until I get around to painting it.  I dry fit everything it course to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

i do, makes it easier for me to store them without losing pieces. Big things go sit on shelves in the closet, medium things in plastic tubs (with ones with bendy bits on top), and small things go into bead boxes that are labeled for what theme they contain

if i leave big things unassembled in their bags, i won't know if they're missing a piece until it's too late to get a new part. ONe of my dance of death was missing the top of its head, for example, and i wouldn't have known

Had the same question myself, and it ended up becoming a whole other thread!

I’m in the wait until I’m ready to paint it camp.

I got big ziplock bags for large figures so that they can be unassembled, or partially assembled. Figures take more space when they're assembled, and there are too many figures in Bones IV that I won't be able to paint well if I 100% glue first. But if I have a giant ziplock? I'm good to go.

The barge is definitely got getting the canopy glued until it is painted. The rest maybe, but probably only some parts. I did glue the decks onto the front and back, but that's it.

Skeletal dragon has the tail attached, but that's about it. I don't want to connect the second half of the ribcage or else I'll have a miserable time reaching inside. Plus the lower jaw will be a pain if I glue that in.

I also have a bunch of ~2in ziplock bags for smaller figures. Full assembly isn't needed, and I don't feel like I'm at risk of losing things; at least until I take them out of the bags.

Yah, I bought A bunch of different size bags from a local 99 cent only type store that has all kinds of cool stuff. I have everything I am not doing right now bagged up. I already built up my frost giants though (and one of my owlbears), and probably will do so with a second set I acquired:)

personally, most of my stuff is in boxes/bags.  not just bones. everything.  GF9, Mierce, GW, Bones, etc.  i end up getting interested to assemble something, then i dont get to working on it for years... i have models sitting on my table that i started in 2012, 2013, etc.

hehe

I haven't bothered individually bagging everything. Big items, yes. Items with multiple pieces, yes. But once say... Adventurers are glued? Those went all together in one bag. A benefit of Bones is that I can fling them together.

So my order has shipped according to the Kickstarter page & UPS email, but I pledged for the Frost Giant Raiders. Will there be a separate package showing up later or should I not be on the lookout for an enormous box tomorrow?

You will be receiving your entire order. The BoD made it in late last week, and I believe the Frost Giant Raiders themselves made it through all 14 waves.

Just noticed this is the information thread, not the enthusiasm thread, so wanted to clarify that I am just a fan who has been following along. My answer isn't directly from Reaper - but should still hold true.

Just got my shipping notice. Now it's a question of if it actually arrives when predicted. Otherwise I won't be able to pick it up until next week. Guess it's time to obsessively keep refreshing the tracking page for the next couple days.

I know for certain that I have one project [craftsman level model railroad kit] started in 1969 that remains unfinished.

This thing called the US Navy got in the way. Somehow< I've never gotten that one finished.
