An Australian back (from wave 1 ) who finally received my order last Friday.

Happy with how much I have to go through, especially the Fantasy Scenics. How do they go together?!

The orrery is annoying, the rest are easy. Orrery has a lot of parts that almost fit backwards, but not quite.

This from the official thread:

If you have any questions regarding missing or damaged pieces from your shipment, or any other questions regarding your pledge, please contact[email protected].

Right, I am currently trying to check with the UK delivery company, if there is any problem on that end I will write them. I was just curious if someone had been in this situation already. Thanks for the help!

You're welcome.

If you need to send an email, provide them with the order number, you're email adress if it is different from the one you used on the Kickstarter, you're adress.

It can take a while because they have to fix a few errors here and there, but they will help you out.

Ok, folks, I know the enthusiasm is winding down with Pacific shipping over half done, but let’s see if we can push this thread to at least an even 1200 pages! ::D:

got an email after the post office had closed on Saturday that my box had arrived there - so I won't be seeing min until possibly Tuesday (depends on whether I can get down there on Monday or not)

So I didn't get to the post office yesterday, so I'll finally see my very small collection (only 2.6kg, basically chicken hut, a few sets of modern scenics and a few sets of Rocky...possibly a set or two of something else, but that's all - I don't think I would've survived receiving a massive assortment of miniatures considering the current state of my miniatures storage.)

I'm sure my children will enjoy the chicken hut (as they are the reason I bought it - they love the story 'bony legs')

picked my small - as in too small for the cat - box today, everything there as expected, although I did have an ape's head try and escape.

Did we ever get a response on whether there should be 4 or 6 barrels in the modern scenics sets? I was buying them mainly for the shipping containers so don't want to email about these as missing if there has been communication that 4 was intended.

Chicken hut definitely needs a little bit of work to make it stand on it's own, hopefully this will be easy and at some point next term I can send the kids to school with the Chicken hut for 'news'...

Still waiting for my replacement Djinni, they must be very busy with all these small problems.

Especially the paint mix up many people got.

Since I ordered both sets that went well on my part though.

Odds are that the paint has the error, yes.

(All the Pledge rewards were repackaged at ReaperHQ, so the local shipping centers only had to slap on labels and push them out the door)

The issue seems to have been with the labelling.

4 boxes with labels 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B,   and someone probably thought that 1A + 2A = Set A, and 1B + 2B = Set B, but...

The correct is;

1A+ 1B = Set A, and 2A + 2B = Set B.

At least this is what I infer from the two boxes I got (1B + 2B)

So anyone ordering only one set is likely to have gotten half of the wrong set.

EDIT: I don't know if everyone packed it wrong, or if it was just one person misreading the labels, and for how long it happened, but...

The AU container was the first finished, and we know that the EU lot and at least some USA orders got he mixup.

Technically, it probably didn't go well. You got two incorrect sets that were so wrong they were right.

I was in Wave 1 US but was held out due to Container of Doom trifecta wait & I only order 1 paint set (the brand new colors) but I ended up getting both sets in my box. Who knows how far they went into shipping with paint packaging problems.

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations

      Story
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to.

I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are.

Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.

This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all.
I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.

In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
