No terrain pieces yet.

The Mystic Circle and Graveyard expansion were my favourites of Bones III.

The giants also have fantastic detail.

I am still stuck on my $1 pledge as I was on Bones III.

I am sure Reaper has its reasons for doing the reveals like this, but I personally I would rather see everything up front.

I would probably be more willing to pledge big money earlier if I knew what I was contributing to.

OK, my impressions so for.

Core set. OK, fewer models than previous 'starters, nothing I particularly want, but a nice set nonetheless. A few good fantasy encounters in there. I might go for a second pumpkin cart and pig, but not at the price of a whole 'nother core

Goblins. Always good. Not survivable, but good low level fodder. Need a caster and command for them though.

Greybeards, townsfolk and knights. Will cheerfully add them to my collection, don't fill a pressing need. Dire animals are nice encounters. Fighter class goblins are useful. Minotaurs don't look to be a style I like, but hopefully they'll grow on me.

The devils are large scale, in D&D terms? gets me one mostly human-proportioned 54mm, very nice, meh on the other 2.

More low-level mooks and Wyvern. The Wyvern is about 2.5-3 inches long? I think that might fill a hole in my collection.

Wraiths - redundant with some things in previous kickstarters; maybe

Giants - Have lots of similar scale giants, kinda ugly; not likely at all

Nargulath - I'd like, but have to put it down as a maybe

High rollers - Chibi dice. maybe for younger relatives if there is room in my pledge. not likely.

Giant huntsman - yeah, this one I'm getting

Paints A - I'm not sure I need more paint, but this one is a high likelihood purchase, though I suspect it's one I'll regret.

Chibi dragon. Not for me, but again, maybe for the cousins

Chronoscope - might even get two. lots of useful stuff

Griffin - might get a second, even

Dragon turtle. Very unlikely. It's pretty and unique, but not useful.

Apes. I can live with these. Iconic for supers games, anyway.

Dire ape?  seems to fit I think....Just don't let anyone get any idea about a king kong sized one....

It's already King Kong for 10-15mm troops, ...and airplanes.

Red Box has one currently in production, Wilhelm the Pure, who I'd link but forum rules. Their kickstarter currently has two more dwarves with recurve bows, although they're posed somewhat similarly to each other and don't have the bow drawn.

Huzzah! 6 sculpts out of the thousands of Dwarf figures that exist.

Northstar has a set of plastic dwarves that can have bows. Not sure if they're available yet but I like the previews I saw.

Hmmmm.

Games Workshop has a LOTR dwarf rangers set with bows, also some other dwarf blisters with bows. Problem is, they're all 25mm

That was the picture I linked. There is more than the one blister ? In that line?

Say they show everything up front. You like the really cool X that you will get if the pledges make it to $3million and it is a $50 add on. So you pledge $50 because you want X. At the end of the kickstarter, it reached $2,755,980 so it didn't quite make it high enough to unlock X. But you pledged for it and can't have it because it wasn't unlocked so now you are mad. So yeah, would be neat to see all of the options that we could maybe get, but would sure cause some anger and resentment if we didn't get all of the stuff because the pledges didn't make it high enough.

You don't actually have to ADD everything first before showing it....YOu can showcase what COULD be offered and go from there.

I noticed how that a lot of the minis (minotaurs, kobolds, Rocky, fire giant huntsman, etc) seem to be built on round bases. Is this true? And if so, will they be produced connected?

Bones models are usually produced with integrated bases unless the casting process requires a separate base.  It's probably a good idea to assume the base on any given model (especially the smaller figures) will be connected to some part of the mini unless Reaper states otherwise.  In the case of figures like goblins and kobolds, you can expect to see multiple figures attached to a sprue at the base.

Some other figures, such as some of the Chonoscope minis, are shown with virtual, "photoshopped" bases.  These are typically replaced with sculpted, integrated, thematic bases during production.

Awesome reveals over night. Not a big fan of the apes, but don't have a problem with them either, and hey, at this point they're "free" in that I had already deemed the Core Set good enough. :) Loving the griffon and dragon turtle and skeletal monsters.
