If the two Spartan statues are different sculpts they should do one as a left handed and one a right handed.  By making them mirror images they would work great as statues on either side of a large door or entrance.

I'm trying to decide if I want 6 or 10.

Even though I can be very OCD on theme, I find having a statue any kind of statue brings the session more to life than drawing a star and a circle on a map to indicate a statue. So I'll use them even if the setting isn't Ancient Greece.

But they're hoplites, they all need to have the same handedness so they can rank up and make a proper phalanx.

I had kinda missed that these will be designed to pop off their plinth and attack the party as living statues.

Even more reason to have more of them that you seed around the dungeon just so people never know for sure if they are just statues or living statues.

Also "mirror symmetry" is a modern thing. To ancient eyes identical statues on either side would be symmetrical.

And the two statues are not identical, one is distressed and worn, the other is not.

So I have to decide... 0, 2, or 4 sets.
