Yeah, that is rather concerning.

 

I mean if i continue to acquire large sized miniatures and continue to not paint them, I'm going to be in some real trouble when they finally revolt.

You do realize they plot together while you sleep, right? Slapping on brown liner appeases them for a fair amount of time, though. Cleaning the mold lines buys you an additional 4 months.

Yeah, it might even force me to get over my 'when I'm good enough' hump, and paint them anyway.

That is always my goal, though I'm pretty sure I've achieved it by now. Which is why I'm actually eagerly looking forward to the next one!  Once I've recovered a little more from the last one, that is.

i'm only ever going to have 1 Ma'al of my own, and I'd rather do my absolute best on it since it's the only one i'm going to have. Not saying those that do the challenge are doing somethign wrong, just that I myself cannot bring myself to speed paint a expensive figure i'm only ever going to have one of

Bingo, Sirithiliel. It is an amazing figure. The 7 day challenge for it is great for those willing to do so. Even if I had the disposable income for it though, I think I'd still only purchase one and try it well. May as well move to different figures later
