I'm digging the Dreadmere figures, so I think I'm in for those.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I think all the chrono stuff is super cool, but I think when all is said and done, if I can't put my finger on a use for it I probably have to wait for retail and see if I want it  (and have the money) then.

My issue with the Chronoscope stuff is the unifying theme is "Scifi" so other than that there is no real theme between all the minis... So while I could use some for one thing, I cant use others... And don't have enough of the one thing that I would want for the intended use...

 

Side note... I think I am gonna get the andromedan princess in metal while waiting for this to fufil....

I think it's a wise choice for flexibility. Can easily stretch from medieval fantasy to 20th century for some minis. Gives a lot of value. I'm not sure what a third expansion would be, but I think I'll need this. I'm figuring this first part is about 40$ and fills gaps I have.

I am there with you. I like the Chrono expansion, but It will not make the list if they keep pumping out cool stuff... Maybe in the pledge manager... maybe

Yah that's what I am thinking too. Unfortunately at this point, I'll probably have to stay with my low pledge and pray things get better so I can bump up for a lot of what is available before July comes.

My tax return (if I get any) will probably be how I get all what I want (or get my Ebay sales moving). Unfortunately things are bad right now, to the point I have had to file one of those B things:( not even sure how the next month will play out. Loving the new expansion!  Rowboat is great and Dreadmere has a very dark, dirty vibe.

Same here. They're good minis, and having duplicates isn't a bad thing. Plus now (18+months from now) I can chop up the Bones ones for conversions without worrying about destroying/ruining a metal or resin mini.

I'm still over pledged for what I want.. the core this time is much more in line with what I need.. the expansions not so much but we'll see what Dreadmere holds in the future.. now do I buy more paint in the colors I already have, or just multiples of any new colors.. *ponder*

@Sirithiliel do you want with or without Elephant? I am curious. Not advocating for or against either option. Also, what wingspan does it need to have to consider it a Roc? (Could somebody just sub a 1:1 scale Raven to use as a Roc?)

 

I thought they once did a sea serpent in separately based pieces. Tail + U shaped half coil + Head. All based emergent from water. That would be cool. Add additional U segments to create longer serpents.

I can build that boat. Still nice to have as a timesaver. Building a boat that nice takes time.

Multiple barrels of fish would be nice, also crates, tabled fish, fish on smoking racks...

 

Also, additional boats. Like a pirate longboat, armed with swivel guns. Or a small pinnace with a nine-pounder Cannon mounted forward, a barge would be good, or maybe a keelboat. 

 

Additional things of gruesome, I am not much of a fan of those.

I actually like the Chrono set for that reason.    I see it kind of like a Reaper Sci-Fi sampler.  It gives me a chance to get a hands-on view of a lot of their different sci-fi figures, try out paint schemes, etc; and then I can decide which ones, if any, I want to build units of.
