i hope we get to see some more dreadmere stuff soon. I think more people will add it once they see that it will be worth the 50$.

Also, look at the reaction over a row boat... what do you think would happen if they put a 50$ caravel out there?

Cant wait to see Baba Yaga, also!!

I'm thinking  a couple of small rare earth magnets; one in the tree, and one in the back of each victim will give a nice bit of flexibility to the Tree of Despair.   I wonder if the vultures could be mounted that way to...

Vultures: I doubt this.

However!

—Embed earth magnets pointing up at all desired buzzard perch locations on the upper branches...

—Make holes in the buzzards with a pin vise as one would to pin a part...

—Insert wire (the butt end of a Jumbo paper clip would be ideal) into the hole...

—Press fit against hard surface to get the wire flush with the bottom of the buzzard.

Wire sticks to magnet. Buzzards can turn on their perches. Mechanics solved.

But that ^ is if one just has to use magnets. If the pin in the buzzard projected downward about 6-9mm, and there was a snug fitting hole in the tree at each perch, at least 10mm deep...

It ought to be possible to remove and install buzzards at will. And empty holes that lack a buzzard ..?.. look like knot holes, ...in a tree.

Aren't the vultures the same ones that were released in metal earlier in the year? If so they're big enough to magnet without much trouble.

Hahaha I kept reading the averag hourly pledge for the last 24 hrs as the last hours gain, and kept thinking we were gaining 2k an hour over night. And was thinking Good Job Europe!

But 2 new net backers and $700 is what I was expecting for a early Sunday morning/Sunday afternoon/Monday morning. Aka 7-8am CDT.

And that progress is still good, because we keep trucking.

I keep seeing people post the day 7 graphic, which showed us on pace money wise. That is not true any more. After day 7 Bones 3 cranked up it's $/day and looked like it would intercept bones 2. Bones 4 is not the same way. We are still in slow burn mode. The expansion and tree keep up from sliding further but we are going to need all of our days just to get as many items as the shorter bones 3 at this rate. Greedy me was ping for more.

But I am not trying to be negative. We are in good shape for backers (Not like 2, but keeping a hair ahead of 3). There just needs to be more to spend money one. In my opinion the first expansion took too long. $615,000 between first and last. It seems like Reaper noticed this ans squeezed the first two Dredmere $90,000 apart.

Let's face it, Bones 2 may never be caught but we might as well have a few more big money items so the high rollers can push new reveals.

More expansions would bring more money. More add ons would bring more money.

I think Reaper should put out as much product as they can, because it will only make them more money.

Last KS, I went in for the giants, the crusaders, the frost worm expansion and extra Hobs.

Have patience. They have ways to get you to spend money.

Have faith in the Reap! And have patience.  Right now, building the backer numbers is the key, and that's what they're doing. There's still 20 days, almost three weeks, for reveals.   This is their 7th Kickstarter, so there's a pretty good bet they have a handle on what they're doing. ::D:

They've already alluded to the fact that there's big things coming, so the big money will come too.  They're experts at knowing how to let the excitement ebb and flow. If they dumped all the big stuff now, there'd be no excitement at the end.  If it's like their past Kickstarters, that last week will be like Christmas, Mardi Gras, and Fourth of July rolled into one!

As companies release more products into the same small consumer markets, the volume of goods that they're able to sell tends to go down--at least as long as the old things are still out there, functioning.

We've seen declines in totals across all of the Bones kickstarters... I think it is reasonable to expect Bones IV to end up somewhere below Bones III in the final total.

Still, we've got a surprising number of backers for where we are in the longer campaign and we've only just now had the second expansion shown. There's potential for this to zoom right past III, maybe, and it looks like Reaper is going to do their damnedest to try to make that happen.

Should be fun!
