Also, I might not be the first person to mention this, and this might not be accurate, but... possible clues as to what a third expansion set could be themed around?

Maybe the big beastie for this KS is going to be a Steampunk Superhero Dragon standing on a piece of terrain and he's going on an adventure to fight horrifying zombies and monstrous aliens in a present-day theme.

Obviously suitable for all rpgs, war games, cooperative games, board games, tabletop games whether they are in a science fiction or fantasy theme. And obviously you can paint him.

I just watched it the other night with my kids.  I really liked it when I was young but it just does not hold up anymore.  I kind of wish I wouldn't have watched it and just kept the memories of it.

That's called the Suck Fairy paid it a visit. It's when you remember some wonderful childhood story or movie or thing like that and you return as an adult and find it inexplicably terrible.

On a brighter note, I hear the new "Voltron" series came about because people who loved the old "Voltron" were appalled at discovering as adults how bad it really had been and decided to make a new series that was like the "Voltron they had thought they remembered.

Posted the rest of the characters I've used without their backgrounds as well as some Avatars for use and a new Supporter Badge for your Signature.

You better get a third, Megan has plans for the second one as well.

Well, we do have a daughter... Baba Yaga's hut counts as a dollhouse, doesn't it? ::P::

The Auld Grump - we are going to be giving her a Weebles Haunted House when she is old enough - even though the Weebles have been gone for decades.

I want to avoid work. Ahhh.

Probably going to need several of the rafts after inspection and during retail. It looks like I could turn then sideways and claim they are part of a fortification for a small village .

You could probably make that really easily as well. Some sticks, some twine, an afternoon with a cold beer and lots of swear words.

Minus the beer and sounds like most of my basing/terrain projects. You forgot to mention losing finger tips to super glue.

That's true for most 80's movies. "You had to be there" generally applies as most of them have not aged particularly well in this world of CGI.

I would disagree entirely. Never ending story is a great flick, if you look at it through the perspective of a child. Some of the greats came out of the 80's.

Labrynth, The Dark Crystal, Dragonslayer, Willow...

and my two personal favorites, Legend and Krull. I can't imagine someone making a better version of these movies even with CGI. Not to mention Conan or Red Sonja....

if if it weren't for Game of Thrones, fantasy would be in an age of decline.

It's a fortification *and* a water vessel!

Yeah, between some of the cool characters, neat items, and those giant frogs, I'm going to have to sit down and consider if I want to get two of Dreadmire.

*musical chord*  GIANT FROGS!!! *end musical chord*
