I'm mostly joking about beans and Ramen. I refuse to pay interest on credit cards but if I bring the food budget in low for the month, $50 rolls to next month and the rest is mine. This incitivizes me to cook instead of eating out.

If you have wall space, consider acrylic nail polish racks. I hang mine in the closet, protecting the paints from sunlight.

I approve of both of these messages.

I already have two paint caddies full of paint, and need to buy a third one. The paint sets will fill that caddy quite nicely.

As a side note, I have a surplus of paint pistol cases.

Thought about cases for paint but want quicker access when working on things so went with a cheap MDF rack from China on Ebay. Looked at nail polish holders but they cost a bit more and I couldn't decide what to get. I posted a pic of it in the Aquisitions thread not long ago. Next step I'll probably build something like here

I've got enough table space that this style can hold a lot of paint only arms length away.

Also more paint. Don't think I have a purpose for Baba Yaga, and she's rather situational being in the Mortar/Pestle, but one more mini to give away to someone or practice painting on never hurts

i'd be happy to help. I don't have the $400 to support that I did last time, but I find the ride fun. This is also the time in a kickstarter where people panic a little about stalls so I wanted to put our numbers in context. I too would like to be ticking along a little faster but when we look at it if all were the same numbers of days, we are in good shape.

The data set I really want to build is the core set size by day number, both total minis and the count modified by size. Reaper says that is the big key new backers, so I want to know if they have bent that curve this time around.

Shoot me a PM with your gmail account and I can get you added to the shared settings.

I already have hundreds of unpainted minis, hence the massive paint buying now. But yeah, it'll probably happen because I regret not buying more in the earlier Kickstarters. 40-50 paints was enough for years. Now I'm at over 150 and thinking not enough.

I'm not in the buy minis=don't eat category anymore but I know how that feels. I'm in the buy minis=pay bank interest category. I'm all grown up now (theoretically) so I get to figure out whether my interest payments offset the Kickstarter savings while I scrape together more cash. There's not a lot of worry the cash will come just some question about when.

I am in the "get into the pledge manager as cheap as possible then buy what I want till july 2018 using Ebay funds" category.

New paints. Baba Yaga (where was this when we were doing Reign of Winter and actually needed her and her hut-TARDIS?). Eeeeeeee!

... yes. The Hut functioned as a sort of TARDIS. The dratted thing was not only entirely larger on the inside than the outside, but jumped worlds and time. The party had things to say about that, believe me. The old witch having apparently become senile didn't help much... (this last will probably depend somewhat on your GM's whims, so .. YMMV).

Cabbage and cabbage? Bleh.

Shred/slice a few leaves of cabbage and put them in a bowl. Make a pot of ramen. Do not drain. Add the flavor packet to the pot. Stir. Pour the pot over the cabbage. Crack a raw egg into the bowl. Stir until the egg breaks down and/or cooks.

Creamy ramen soup with cabbage. Works best with the chicken flavored ramen.

Optionally you can add other things to the pot and/or the bowl including but not limited to:

onions, garlic, leftover meats, bacon, bacon fat, carrots, broccoli, fried egg, peas, herbs...

Upped to add the paint. I absolutely love the desaturated colors.

Like a lot of people here, I'm not sure where I'm going to put them. Already ran out of room on all 3 paint racks.

The addiction is real folks.

If you are painting Baba Yaga's hut you better be cooking up a big pot of shchi.
