For real. Teach them (the hard way  ) the downsides of a low charisma. In the case of Baba Yaga, if you aren't pretty enough she'll throw you in the soup!

Dreadmere part 3 really makes Chronoscape part 3 seem underwhelming.

I am surprised by the disparity there. It's not only that Dreadmere has more figures, but it has bigger figures, too. I almost wonder if there might be a fourth part to Chronoscope?

Yes, to paraphrase someone else, those aren't the figures I was looking for in the Chronoscope expansion. Really wanted new stuff. Starship crew, alien PCs, space pirates, terrain etc.  I guess Reaper just doesn't get as excited about sci-fi as they do about fantasy and horror. The all or nothing plan means I probably won't bite even though it is what I was most looking forward to this time.   No Chronoscope in the core or as add-ons, either.  A few little nibbles we could get separately would have been nice.  Oh well. 

 

I like the Dreadmere stuff even thought it will probably never get played with.

The "clears" are pretty transparent paints, bad for base coating, good for glazing and layering.

 

The "glows" are most likely regular opaque pigmented paints that emulate OSL glowing on other surfaces.

 

Edit: Read Inarah's post below, it makes more sense. Though some of the pigments like red, orange and yellow are naturally not very opaque.

"Clear" paints are not transparent.  They are single pigment paints, not color blends. This confuses people to no end. 

 

The "glows" are simply bright colors you can use for special effects like magic runes.

I guess the other thing to keep in mind RE: Chronoscope vs. Dreadmere is more of Dreadmere appears to be stuff that's already available in metal, while Chronoscope looks mostly like new sculpts. Seems reasonable that you could get a little more bang for your $50 pledges if a lot of the stuff is recast.

Unrelated, but Torlan and Bufo now live in my campaign setting, and they are best friends and have great misadventures.

Bryan has stated that the Chronoscope is done at 3 parts. I expect Dreadmere to be done as well. A surprise for the sci-fi lovers would be nice tho, but I won't be holding my breath.

Yeah it has gotten them into trouble a few times when they went straight for the fight rather than try the relatively easy diplomacy route. 

 

Fortunately I should say that my current game has some pretty good players in it who definitely realize the virtue in covering all the bases (particularly good since we are running Kingmaker).
