It's kind of crazy to think what's left for the last 48 hours.  A lot of the items revealed already are ones I would have thought to be anchors for the last 48...Baba Yaga's Hut, Zombie Dragon, etc.  It leaves me scratching my head and wondering how much more I will have to up my already ridiculously high pledge in the weeks to come?!?

Iirc, oneboot quoted one of the reaper folks as saying none of the stuff planned for the last 48 hours had been teased. I imagine them sitting there laughing maniacally at your confusion.

This is just a wild theory... but it seems as if Reaper is actually trying to provoke us into giving them as much of our money as is possible!  Inconceivable! :lol:

Wowzers.  I think I'm more excited for the Dreadmere designs than I am for anything so far in the Core set.  :D  I *love* the aesthetic.  Is there any backstory on the inspiration behind all of this?  (E.g., are these designs done with any particular system/setting/campaign in mind?  Or is there any particular region or time period that's serving as inspiration for the styles?)

They're the campaign setting that Reaper has used for games at Reapercon the past couple years. They are teasing the possibility of a pdf... which I would love.

Reaper's aesthetic has worked out well for me for my favorite RPG (Earthdawn) which has fantasy and horror elements. Dreadmere is a nice distillation of that aesthetic.

Really expected the dragon to be more expensive... looks like I'm in for a zombie dragon!

Yeah. I really hate zombies, as in the whole concept and mythos. But, at just $10... its hard to pass up. Not added, but maybe I can think of how to unzombie it and get over my dislike.

True.. we haven't seen the new Bonsylvanians yet either...

Nor mouslings. Thought of that getting ready for work this morning. And then that thought led to this thought: Mousling Expansion. Keeps it out of the core set, and gives everybody a way to directly support the line.

Chances of a Mousling expansion? Near zero. But thought I would share.

Hm, I'm just looking at it from my phone, but maybe one could make some weird plant/fungi growth on him?

So... a veggie dragon? Possible. I was thinking of patching up the holes and making it just some very ancient dragon. Old, but not undead. Wings could stay torn, and a very thin skin over the ribs and other internal bits.
