i can't help it....i had Ma'aldakar planned out within a few days of seeing it in the KS, now it's almost finished IRL!

 

it's in my nature to start thinking up color schemes...

Mine has yet to see any paint love if for no other reason that I've seen so many great color schemes for Narthrax and have been left in a state of perpetual indecision (I suppose the obvious answer to just buy several more).

Jarring is a fine way to describe it, yes. Perhaps a fine yellow and purple.

I'm admittedly biased since this is my first Kickstarter, but I've sure as heck ogled 1-3 before. Am I wrong in saying this is, hands-down, the best yet? Or am I just swept up in the excitement of it all?

I feel the same way. I'm basically in the same situation as you are, and I had some "meh, if they come in the core set it's alright I guess" moments with the previous KS. This one I see a use for pretty much all the core set, minus the small world chibis.

And I want all the Add Ons, expect the statues and the non-fantasy stuff.

This is going better (or worse) than expected.

maybe they feel they need to push more out to get the pledges moving so they can unlock stuff they showcased in the livestream? I will definitely get dance of death when its unlocked! I am not all excited about containers, but I definitely like everything else! Man, my poor paypal accoount:(

Looks awesome so far, perhaps a deeper purple and a yellow closer to chartreuse. Very drowlike and/or oozey colours.
