People tell me I should prestige class into Cool Aunt but that requires some 1st level humans running around and no one seems to want to add levels in Parent. Instead I just keep dumping levels into Black Sheep with a level dip into Backstabbing Gossip-Broker. I did that for the red wine bonuses.

I understand there's a Crazy Cat Lady prestige class that has some decent perquisites. Have you looked into that?

Phew, I'm glad the female giants (monsters) thing is such a popular topic. I was kind of afraid of bringing it up again and again.

I'm not too bothered if the poses and dresses are a bit more lady-like, as long as it's a pretty civilized kind of giant (a hill giant in a gown would be something special indeed).

But what kinda annoys me if there are NO (or just the one caster) female versions of a certain monster, even though there are multiple male ones and one would typically build a group of enemys. The hill giants are a good example, Orcs are another one.

Idk, maybe it is the case that noone wants to buy an ugly female miniature, but it feels weird to me. I just hope the female ogre from the last KS will sell like hot cakes when she makes her apperance at retail.

I have, I'm missing a few feats yet. I did acquire my first mandatory orchid though. Getting there, getting there.

02622 Frulla Krung would be a fine addition to the Bones line.

+1

The current sculpt seems a little small though. A new scale resculpt would be great to fit into the latest versions of the males.

It's a fair topic. We're not knocking the current batch of male or female giants. They're easily some of the best available anywhere for such an affordable price. We're just expressing a want for a fuller range.

I don't think that particular ogre is the best example for what I'd like to see. I'm not looking for ugly females for the sake of being ugly. Just an equally kick elf equivalent to the male figures in the line. Also not looking for big body females for the sake of being big. The female hobgoblin is the best example I can think of. She will fight PCs and won't look out of place in the raiding party while doing it. Glorious!

The Auld Grump

Yeah... I'm Danish and I don't even eat pickled herring, Imma have to pass on the twice-dead shark.

Isn't that the greenland shark that can live up to 450 years if left alone?

The one and only.  I'm not sure we've ever really figured out how long they live, though.  I remember Jeremy Wade (Animal Planet's River Monsters) hooked into one they thought was about that old.

It's tough for me to imagine any animal old enough to have been alive during the AWI.

Not even herring served on a potato slice with red onion, capers, dill and a dollop of yogurt? (Even better with a schmear of doubanjiang!) Yeah, I'll take a rain check on the shark too.

I'll eat fried herring (I'm Scandinavian enough that I'll eat any cooked fish), but I don't like pickled anything (except beets).

Yes but how many are in dynamic poses and look like they are really ready to fight?..  Heck skadi is the only female giant that is in a battle ready scene in the reaper line.

That was the point I was making.  Reaper has seven nice female giants and none in combat poses.  Even Skadi looks more like she's at the forge.

She's nice, but she's just sort of standing there holding an axe.  I would like to see a female giant at least more like this:

True, her pose is a bit static, but at least she's holding an axe. Would love to see one in full rage mode, however.

I'd like to point out that half the hill giants have full beards and the other half have neck beards. This is important because hill giants don't shave. You're right, the female hill giants aren't pretty.

Reminder that this is not the appropriate thread for political discussions.

The discussion of female giants is fine, though; it has remained civil and courteous and is on topic. :)

Huzzah!
