True, although they did have to do with the final unlocks from the map before. (Rocky and statues.) It's possible they're flipping the script this time and putting the comic out just ahead of the next map to tease what it'll be about.

Lets see... underdark tease no dwarfs yet, perhaps some duergar are in our future.

 

My short list from underdark campaigns that haven't been mentioned Fomorians, Svirfneblin, Grick, Mind Flayers, Quaggoths, Ropers, Rust Monsters, Troglodyte( make them big enough and would be a functional slaad aswell)  Myconids are pretty weird dunno if they would throw them in, Xorn are a weird bunch too but weird is good sometimes

Fomorian - they made one in Bones 3 that should be released in less than a year.

 

Svirfneblin - they have a few "derro" in bones that I thought were these guys?

 

Grick - chthon

 

mind flayer - bathalian (alas only one sculpt in bones)

 

quaggoth - I don't even know what that is

 

roper - they have this "stone lurker"

 

rust monster - oxidation beast

 

troglodyte - i think their lizardman line is the closest to this 

 

slaad - agree we need one

 

myconid - they have 3 of of these mushroom men (though I'm not opposed to more)

A large beholder eyebeast would just be the perfect cherry on top of this campaign. I know we have that one eyebeast in bones, but that guy's a little off for my tastes. Conjunctivus (or a new sculpt, even better!) would be more up my alley!

Looks like I may very well be lucky enough to wake up to a new Kickstarter email in the morning, at this rate! Here's hoping.

 

 

Wait, one last thing... I *knew* that Roc sculpt looked kind of familiar for a reason!!

I would LOVE to sculpt Eddie someday. He's just too iconic though to do without license.
