I learned the hard way not to Twitter. Ex boyfriend in prison, but with computer privileges.

I don't even use that email account anymore.

He quoted me on religious web sites, about how I am  a Satanist and need saving because I am a neopagan and used to be noisy about it.

He took a lot of the fun right out of being a practicing witch.

This KS is still looking kind of guy heavy, I am hoping for more witches, sorceresses, and clericsesses. Clerictrixes? There are a lot of older Reaper miniatures of female casters that would be great in Bones, all by the same sculptor. She also did some female fighter and paladin types that still look really good.

Was that when you took down your portfolio?

I have been blaming it on BaM!'s policies - I don't think you ever mentioned being attacked online, at least not to me. ::(:

And of course you are a practicing witch, how else will you ever make it to Carnegie Hall?

***

I know the figures - I think. Sandra Garrity was the sculptor - and they remain some of my favorite Reaper minis of all time.

(I swear, the one on the left is casting Summon Cat Food, for the cat with its paw on her foot....)

(The one on the right is my favorite miniature for a priestess, ever.)

I don't know if they will ever be released (or have been released) in Bones - but they are pretty reasonably priced in metal, anyway. About $9 or so, for three figures.

And, I think the word you were looking for was Priestesses? Cleric became Clark, became Clerk, and is mostly non-gendered-ish, these days, I think?

Interesting!

Of course, it's me.

I think they are probably quite iconic, especially the larger ones. We use plastic carrier bags here and in most of Europe. It's one of those things about the US that I grew up watching on the TV screen and always wondered about.

Yep, I've heard of brown bag lunches.

Is the paper plasticized, or waxed? Is it biodegradable?

For those of you planning to get Dance of Death, what colors will you be painting your dragons? Same, different, with polka dots?

For that matter, does anyone already have color schemes for any of the Bones 4 figures picked out? I'm already planning to paint the catfish as a Magikarp (thanks to Pezler's suggestion).

Uh... see a bit further down.

This may sound unusual but I really liked the brown paper bag they served up the bases in for Bones I, we don't have those types of bags in this country but I do see them being used at the grocery store on American TV and I always wondered how they didn't just fall apart. Now I know.

Sad, but there you have it

Should send you a proper grocers bag; thick, tall, and able to carry a lot of groceries. Not the little sandwich bag you got.

Maybe it's not a dance at all...look at those clasped talons...

is...is it love?

Fine line between hate and love...

it could be a courtship, not a fight...

Thats what I'm thinking for mine: Dance of Desire. Maybe go with two greens performing a courtship dance in the air. Just need to think up some gender differences between them. Maybe more flashy colors for one, the other a bit more drab.

Probably as a Red Dragon with black horns/points/teeth/talons and about the other, I'm still not sure. Probably as a black dragon highlighted in seaweed green.

I would have liked a chromatic/metallic D&D dragons battle, but I'm not as confident as I would need to be to paint an entire dragon metallic, much less such an amazing piece.

Another first idea that may still materialize is to recreate the scheme we can see on this art from Ciruelo

This is very similar to the paint scheme I am planning.  Silver vs Black, for a kind of Yin Yang feel.

Apologies for not doing my KS comment summaries the past few days. I've hardly been home the past couple of days, and today I found out one of my close uncles is in the hospital doing very poorly. I'll get back to them when I can, but my focus is more on 3D life right now. Thanks for understanding.

I'm hoping Gauth will do okay in Bones. I keep looking at how skinny his ankles are, comparatively. Perhaps with his wings straight up like that, it will diminish the slowly-tipping-over problem some of the other metal-to-Bones dragons have had.

He's a lovely big beastie, though, should be fun to paint. ^_^

I noticed in the video that displayed him that he wobbled a little bit so I was wandering the same thing.  Guess I'll just pin it the best I can and use foliage to cover up any pins that are visible.

What size of base would he it on?

So, you haven't seen the purple phase kitten yet?

Hope he gets better soon.

The paper is not plasticized or waxed, and is biodegradable. also very useful. I've got one dresser that the bottom of the drawers got scraped up, then repaired with layers of wood glue and brown paper bags.

That was my initial thought, just a different kind of dance... debating painting them gold and bronze, since I was a huge fan of Pern as a teen. Though they look nothing like pernese dragons.

I'll be honest here - when I first saw that tableau, I thought it was a courtship dance.

Oh, I LIKE that!

There is a couple we know that would love something like that for our their anniversary!
